Okay. Next question: Why would the Seahawks want him?
Because he played O Line for a playoff team, the Seahawks need an O Lineman and bloggers need something to write about. Cap 97 typed a few sentences that probably made more sense than what was written by some online blogger that read that a team that made the playoffs might be willing to part with one of their O Lineman. It's a new warm body. Hell, the blogger might be right...I mean, isn't Warm Body at the top of JS's list when looking at O Lineman?

"Are you over 300 lbs and can fog a mirror". If you answer yes please skip ahead to our negotiation line.
Hmmm....I qualify for sure

I know there's complaints but overall the Seahawks have been a well run organization. I don't think it be loyalty as much as Allen understanding the value of stability. I think they would continue to be a team
How many playoffs in the last 6 years? How many playoff wins? We’ll run??? Better than the mariners yes. But, if playoffs are the goal or winning in the playoffs it isn’t we’ll run.
The Seahawks came in seventh

What are the Top 10 front offices in NFL? Here’s how 40 executives and coaches voted
7. Seattle Seahawks
Total points: 52.5 (1 first-place vote, appeared on 11 ballots)
Chair: Jody Allen
General manager: John Schneider
Head coach: Mike Macdonald

Schneider’s 14-year partnership with former coach Pete Carroll produced 10 playoff appearances, two conference championships and a victory over Denver in Super Bowl XLVIII. Schneider, who helped Carroll build a historic defense in the early 2010s, was instrumental in identifying Russell Wilson as a franchise quarterback.

This is now a franchise in transition after the 2022 trade sending Wilson to Denver and Carroll’s departure following last season. But many of Schneider’s top lieutenants have been with the team for more than a decade and remain in place.

“Everybody just loves to work there,” a GM said. “They have a great front office vibe between coaching and personnel (staff). John Schneider is one of those collaborators. They draft well. Even with Pete leaving, the transition seemed very smooth.”

The Seahawks haven’t won a playoff game since 2019, but are 3-0 in Macdonald’s first season and are coming off back-to-back 9-8 seasons with a resurrected Geno Smith taking over for Wilson. The decisions to draft Wilson and later trade him reflected what voters saw as a willingness to make decisions without regard for potential backlash. The trade sending Wilson to Denver became one of the league’s most fruitful deals of the past few years.

“They have a clear vision of what they want to be,” an executive said. “(Schneider) had Pete (Carroll) for 13 years, and they had great communication and shared a vision. (It’s a) very stable organization. John is a very humble guy and has great relationships throughout the league and in the media. He is plugged in and knows what is going on.
“Even though they have had great continuity, he never settles and is always looking for what is next and asking, ‘What am I missing?’ Never thinks he is the smartest guy in the room and listens. Great leader and respected by everyone because he is so genuine.”

Here's a list of what this guy thinks are the five most likely FA busts, three were signed by the Seahawks, Darnold, Kupp, and Lawrence

Think what he's getting at is he's going more high risk high reward kind of player, guys like, DeMarcus Lawrence, Kupp and Darnold. I agree this looks like the opposite of a rebuild
So, he is adding big names, but not O Lineman? Nothing new here.
We are not rebuilding. Nothing new here.

I really don't get your point. He is doing NOTHING different. Everyone but you sees that.

Its not my point, it's the guys writing the articles point. The point being JS has been signing high risk free agents. If they were to all crash and burn maybe it's the last of JS, who knows. If you don't agree that his signings are high risk okay, not going to debate it with you

I guess we will run, or try. Gotcha. Well run on the other hand???? Like I messed up spelling, I guess it is the same as the people (John S.) choosing our offensive line.

What does John really in recent years to say he is doing a good job? Really what is it? I like John, he isn't an asshole like Dipoto. But, is he doing a good job? Is this a good organization? This isn't a bad organization. But saying it is good is missing the goal. He is getting the team to the playoffs at a 50 Percent rate, that is worse than Jerrys 54% bullcrap.

The last 8 seasons
4 no playoffs
3 losses in the first round
1 win in the WC round and loss in the divisional.

8 years 1 playoff win. 1!

If you go the last 10 he has 3 playoff wins in 10 years with a great record of 3-5 in the playoffs in 10 years. Again, is this a well run organization?

Blame Pete? So, he fired Pete-then fired the OC, then fired the DC!!! And we still didn't make the playoffs. Looking at the last 6 drafts is there hope? Yes, the last 3 drafts are better than the 3 previous. So, going back to well run. Not sure I still say no. Ok or solid run yes. So, last 6 drafts only JSN-Spoon-DK were Probowlers.

24 draft 8/9 picks on team. 1 starter
23 draft 10/10 on team. 3 starters 2 pro bowlers (hope we have another one of these. Did help with the Russ trade. Top 5 pick.
22 draft 8/9 on team. 6 starter.
21 draft none on team. Only Stone F started and he was 3rd string and 2 in front of him got hurt.
20. draft none of the 8 on team. Did have 2 starters that didn't get a second contract
19 draft none of the 11 on team. 2 starters. DK was one of them. He did get a second contract, just not a third.

Collier, Brooks, Cross, SPoon, JSN, and Murphy as your first rounders. Good hit rate
Hall, Charb, Mafe, Walker, Eskridge, Taylor, Blair, Metcalf are the second rounders. Nice. Only metcalf has been a Pro Bowler
Barton, Lewis, Lucas, Hayes are the third rounders. No big hits outside Lucas who isn't a pro bowler or close to one. Solid yes.

Gets really sparse and bad for olineman or dline anyhwere outside 2.

Solid. Well run I don't think it is.

I think John has gotten something of a free pass after 2013, but don't forget Pete had final word on roster moves including draft picks, although we don't know how much of an impact he had on those decisions. And John didn't fire Pete, Jody did.

You posted it, and I explained why I disagree. Have an opinion about it or don't, I don't give a shit. But saying he brought in guys like Kupp so he's changed? That's just stupid. Kupp is just an older version of Harvin and Graham. He is a big name, local guy, the fans love it, and many of them are talking about that and not the dogshit offensive line. Win for JS. Remind you of Harvin, Graham, Adams or any other long list of big names added when that played spots NOT on the O Line?

He has added one depth piece on the O Line, hired new coaches and told us how great the guys here are, they just need new coaches. No different then every year that dude has been here. He devalues the O Line, and how many playoff games have we won since second and goal? Not many. The Defending Super Bowl Champs had two amazing Lines. No one won significant games last year the way we tried to. It's a minor miracle we were only a game out. So he doubles down, yet again.
