Oh, i was wondering why he had suddenly fallen about 100 spots in the overall player ranking - guess that would do it.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 12:45 am
Will be interesting to see where Bond lands. SA allegation, rumors that teams view him as a late 2nd, early 3rd pick.
He sure would compliment Kupp and JSN well.

i tried an experiment where i rejected a proposed trade, then made the exact same trade proposal myself, and guess what - it got rejected!Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:11 pmI agree. I don't think teams are making those types of offers that much in reality and instead of gaining hundreds of points in trade value (from the draft trade value chart) it is much more likely it will only come out slightly to the advantage of the team trading back. That said, i would strongly support the notion of JS moving off of 18 at least back into the late 20s because the experts seem to agree that there are only about 10-15 elite prospects in this draft and there isn't much of a drop-off (or disparity) in talent between 16 and 50.
I had suspected that the algorithm builds in a gain expectation for the team receiving the offer - that's the only explanation i can fathom for such an outcome my test generated.

Bears take Will Campbell at 10, Seahawks trade a 3d for Jones. He's a tackle and he's recovering from injury
That's precisely what the Seahawks did in a new seven-round mock draft from Pro Football Network. A projected trade with the Chicago Bears sends offensive lineman Braxton Jones to Seattle in exchange for pick No. 82 overall.
It's an interesting trade projection because Jones has been a productive starter and is just 26 years old. The former fifth-round pick has exclusively played at left tackle in Chicago, so the team would have to move him or Charles Cross.

Kinda interesting looking at the SF Seattle rivalry. I hadn't realized how much the Seahawks have dominated, recently bias .
. The Seahawks lead the all-time series 31–23. After drafting Russell Wilson in 2012, the Seahawks dominated the rivalry, holding a 17–4 record against the 49ers before Wilson's departure in early 2022. After Wilson's departure, the 49ers turned the rivalry around, winning six in a row, which is the longest win streak for the 49ers against the Seahawks, before the Seahawks ended the streak with a 20–17 victory on 17 November 2024

Six in a row, and then escaping this year even thought they were extremely banged up seems to stick in my mind a shit ton more than what we did to an emaciated Kaepernick.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 4:32 pmAfter Harbaugh left and Kaepernick decided to become a far left activist they had some lean years.

Re: Thread for draft simulations:
Sometimes when I was interested and trading a pick and didn't get an offer, I would try trading back a spot with nothing else involved and the team would reject it. In other words I would offer the 18th pick for the 19th pick straight up and the team would say no.57reasons wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:56 ami tried an experiment where i rejected a proposed trade, then made the exact same trade proposal myself, and guess what - it got rejected!Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:11 pmI agree.
