Lynch article
I believe the article touches on Lynch's qualifications for the HOF. Its the kind of thing john Clayton would press in the hof meeting if he was alive. Believe he is considered instrumental getting Tez into the hof with that presentation. Its unfortunate he's not here to promote marshawn

Re: Lynch article
Seattle has had several players with massive peaks but maybe not the full body of work.
I want to open up my own sports museum that celebrates peak dominance rather than 20 years of reliability.
Shawn Kemp, Felix Hernandez, Dwight Gooden.

The thing is the NFL hof doesn't really turn on extended bodies of work as the others, probably because of the nature of the sport.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 4:54 pmSeattle has had several players with massive peaks but maybe not the full body of work.

Re: Lynch article
That makes sense. The only HOF I've ever paid attention to is the MLB one and even that one I don't really care that much.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 5:04 pmThe thing is the NFL hof doesn't really turn on extended bodies of work as the others, probably because of the nature of the sport.DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 31, 2025 4:54 pmSeattle has had several players with massive peaks but maybe not the full body of work.

I don't know which Seahawks have been inducted, but I would say Marshawn is probably the biggest star in franchise history. That's why it's so crazy that he didn't get a chance to carry that ball across the goal line in that Super Bowl.

Re: Lynch article
AI answer to his hof chances
his presence and impact will be weighed a lot more highly than longevity. He is widely considered to have a strong Hall of Fame resume due to his 10,413 career rushing yards, 85 rushing touchdowns, five Pro Bowl selections, and a Super Bowl championship

Will they fine him if he doesn't give a speech after he's inducted?
