The Niners and Rams are both very good teams, but again? I hope we learned our lesson in the 49er game. That game plan was pathetic. 88 yards passing after the two minute warning? And we STILL damn near won? Same with the Rams game. 4 picks by our QB, four times the Rams started a drive inside our territory, and we were still a fluky punt away from winning that one.douche wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 6:37 pmIf (and it's definitely an 'if') SEA can get out of the NFC West, I think anything's possible. The Rams and the Niners are the thorn in the proverbial side of this team. And I think a lot of it is mental. Sometimes we forget that it's not just athletic prowess, a player also needs to be mentally tough. It's a cliche but, 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going'.
If SEA can dig down and find their mojo, things could get really interesting. And fun.
We could of course lose to them both again, but I don't think there is any reason to expect to lose. I don't feel mental toughness was an issue. Kubiak fucked up in week one and Darnold fucked up a few weeks ago against the Rams. Let's hope those two things don't occur again. I also am pretty sure that Bosa and Warner played the first time we played the 9ers. Big difference without those two.
