Re: Championship Sunday
32 rushes for 58 yards for Lynch and Homwr in the playoffs. Other then the short-yardage TDs, how many drives did that basically forfeit? Where would this team would be if Wilson had dropped back on half of those, or even a third?

At the very least they would have been playing last week. IMO.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2020 4:10 am32 rushes for 58 yards for Lynch and Homwr in the playoffs. Championship Sunday would have been a lot different imo if not for that idiotic Delay of Game penalty in week 17.

Re: Championship Sunday
Sorry, we lose with the three seed just like we did with the five seed. Hell, we might have lost to the Vikings at home in the WC round.
1. Green Bay gets the 1 seed
2. Saints get the 2 seed
3. Hawks get the 3 seed
4. Eagles get the 4 seed
5. Niners get the 5 seed
6. Vikings get the 6 seed
Even if we somehow beat the surging Vikings at home, something the Saints couldn't do......we still go on the road the next week. So, does anyone in here think we somehow start off in the first half like we always do on the road in Divisional Round and come back in New Orleans? The Saints destroyed us, at home, with Teddy Bridgewater at QB. The team that should be bitching about the delay of game is the Saints. There is just nothing in me anymore that believes we will allow our offense to win when the defense is as bad as it is right now. New Orleans would have killed us, and a part of me thinks the Vikings would have too. As we have pointed out, since the Super Bowl loss, look at the teams we have beaten....and how we have beaten them. We aren't exactly ass kickers in the playoffs anymore. Something tells me if Kirk wasn't screaming "you like that" at us all 4th quarter, we would be getting whooped the next week anyway. New Orleans was a better team than Green Bay, and we spent 30 minutes looking like a JV team in a scrimmage against the Varsity in Lambo.
Niners would have destroyed the Eagles, kicked the Packers ass, but then had to go into New Orleans for a re-match of the shoot out in early December. Would they have had it in them to win three straight road games? Maybe not.
Now, if you meant our playoff lives were decided by shitting the bed at home against AZ and SF? Then I agree.
Re: Championship Sunday
I agree . And the injuries. Did you see the write up on how big a drop off in offensive efficiency after the Dissly injury?
Adding another TE isn't going to solve the problem. Dissly is special. Need him to be healthy for a season.

Re: Championship Sunday
So far we are O fer 2 in having Dissly not go down early to a season ending injury. If adding another one means when that happens I don't have to watch Jacob Hollister get bounced around like a pinball after one of his many catches for little significance? Then I am alright with adding another TE.
