49ers Brian Fleury - likely OC pick

He's a funny looking feller, that is true. This thing about the analytics stuck out to me on why maybe MM and JSD-train wrote: ↑Mon Feb 16, 2026 4:00 pmI do not care. He might be a good coach but this won't end well. Some scandal of sorts. Book it. I am a good judge of character and this dude has some evil in his soul.trharder wrote: ↑Mon Feb 16, 2026 3:50 pm
Before joining the 49ers, Fleury spent three seasons with the Miami Dolphins, first as a football research analyst in 2016 and then as the team’s director of football research from 2017 to 2018. His background in both analytics and on-field coaching has helped shape his reputation as a detailed, modern offensive mind.
gravitated to this guy. Like perhaps he thinks like MM.

Looks like oline coach John Benton is staying - good news! Hopefully we can retain most of these guys.

Gregg Bell is the best sports writer in WA State. Here he adds insight into the coaching stuff.

Re: 49ers Brian Fleury - likely OC pick
So, one of if not THE brightest young defensive minds in the game hires someone from the Shanahan tree to coach his offense. Sound Familiar? Wasn't Kubiak from the Shannahan tree?
I love Shanahan as a play caller and offensive mind. I think some of the things he is doing are being countered by the better defensive teams, but he took an injury riddled team to the second round of the playoffs and his offense was 6th in the NFL in Passing Offense, 9th in the NFL in passing yards per attempt, 4th in the NFL in passing TDs, tied for 7th in total offense (tied with us), and 10th in points. That was with Auiyuk playing in zero games, Purdy and Pearsall only playing in 9 games and Kittle only playing in 11.
They just showed they didn't have to just stick in house to make the transition not as bumpy. I like it.Klint Kubiak is considered a key part of the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree. He served as the San Francisco 49ers' passing game coordinator under Kyle Shanahan in 2023, following his father Gary Kubiak's long-standing, deep professional ties to Mike Shanahan. Klint Kubiak is regarded as a top branch from the Shanahan-Kubiak offensive system.

You are correct sir, but remember, it's actually his father Mike it's named for. This is second generational. Klint father Gary learned it from Kyles father Mike.
Here in fact is Bill belichick explaining the thing, this is pretty interesting. Say what you want, belichick can be fun to listen to
