Drove from Columbus, OH to Pasadena the final days of 1991 solo for the 1992 natty Rose Bowl. Went out on the town New Years Eve to Whiskey and Go Go made famous by Guns and Roses. We lost our marbles when Napoleon took the opening KO past mid field. Great Glory.
I was also at that game DT. My father bought us Rose Bowl tickets and is a memory I'll never forget.
Wow awesome! I also remember getting the USA Today out of the paper box the next morning and seeing that the idiot writers had voted for Miami to be number one so we had to share it with those Jokers
To be expected. All of the TV sports news programs were predicting a split national championship even before the game. It did piss me off though.

That NAT/CHAMP team had so many intricate, dynamic players at almost every position on both sides of the football- I think we would have gotten past them Canes like 28-17 if not 34-13.

Woke up New Years day, 1992 still drunk. We had an iced tea maker back then and I might have drank a gallon of it before driving to Safeway to get food, which was cold chicken and most likely a Gatorade. Then went home and proceeded to begin drinking. Begged Mario to strike the Heisman, freaked out when Nap nearly busted the kickoff, and just flat out partied that entire day. Didn't think I could enjoy a football game more than the one they won that year at Nebraska....but seems I was wrong!

If there had been a playoff system back in the day, UW wins the NC in '84 and '91 and would have had a decent shot in '90. Instead, they have half a title which everyone knows is a lame joke.

Seven prime time games...
After winning the Super Bowl last season, and returning 20 of 22 starters, half of which have been added by Schneider in the last two seasons alone (the years after Pete Carroll was removed from his duties with the team), Seattle is a glamor team heading into 2026. The Seahawks will be featured on seven primetime games (due to a somewhat early Saturday game in Week 15)
