Re: Greg Olsen visiting the Hawks
In a perfect world I'd love Olsen. However we have a Salary Cap. I'd rather roll with the tight ends we have, maybe draft another in the late rounds and spend the FA dollars on positions of greater need like Defensive line, Corner or O-line.

They can do both. Hell they might sign Austin Hooper or Hunter Henry.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 4:46 pmIn a perfect world I'd love Olsen. However we have a Salary Cap. Maybe they can but I doubt it. I'd hate to have them miss out on a player they really need because they already spent too much money on a tight end that is a bit superfluous.
Re: Greg Olsen visiting the Hawks
he's going to get $6M at most, likely less given his age. that is easy pickens if you ask me - think you can make that up just by cutting Britt, which seems very likely at this point.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 7:38 pmMaybe they can but I doubt it. Re: Greg Olsen visiting the Hawks
For me it depends on the alternative. Dissly, Olsen and Hollister....based on Dissly's history and Olsen's age, we could immediately be looking at Dissly as the #1 again, right?
I'd like a #2 behind Dissly...can Olsen play all year at his age?
Re: Greg Olsen visiting the Hawks
Yes Dissly is one of the best TE in football when healthy. That young man needs a does of good luck. Wilson is campagning for this. He knows what Olsen is capable of. Age is a concern. I say if TE is that important to this offense. Which obviously it is . Might as well go after Hooper, Hunter, Howard if he becomes available or draft one.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 11:05 pmFor me it depends on the alternative. Apparently, Greg Olsen is in contract talks with three teams
Seattle, Washington & Buffalo

Olsen was with Rivera in Carolina, so that may be a factor.
Seattle and Buffalo have better shots at getting him a ring, also a factor.
