Inaccurate. We were 7-2 without him last season. Our last game without him was the 26-0 win over the Vikings...Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2026 4:56 pmI didn't research this, but someone posted on X that the last time we didn't have Love at Safety was the Tampa Bay loss. Mayfield looked like Dan Marino that game. Darnold was great, except for the incredibly HUGE two mistakes that he made that lead directly to 14 points for the other team.auroraave wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2026 1:05 pmI think Love and Okada out really hurt the defense. Hard to have a healthy team - Seattle got so so lucky last year. Almost feels unreal having a loss - it's been so long! The good news is the lambs lost in hilarious fashion and McVey looks like he's 'bout to blow a gasket. Damn shame.![]()
Also, even Dickson had an off game. That's how wild this game was. Hopefully we ate all our shitburgers in one game. I still say Darnold balled out - nearly 400 yards passing in shitty conditions and with no running game.

Rasheed had 31 snaps. Its not for a lack of playing time. I don't know but honestly, I have to wonder if just having him on the field is contributing to the sort of production JSN is getting. It might not be necessary to be tossing Rasheed the ball with how JSN is catching it. You know he is off to a better start this season than he had last year, two OPY in a row? Its never been done, Jerry Rice is the only receiver to win two period. I'd be more concerned about Rasheed if the passing offense was struggling, but it doesn't seem to be

Possibly but if he continues to not be a threat he is going to turn into Taylor Ward trying to take walks with not threat of doing and damage when they throw him strikes....Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2026 6:28 pmRasheed had 31 snaps. JSN only pace for 153 catches for well over 2000 yards and 34 TDs. lol

Just having him on the field he's a threat, they can't ignore him. Kupp pointed it out last season, having him on the field requires a post alert, safeties have to respect it. He didn't get the ball much last season but they re-signed him anyway. The assumption was they would get him the ball more this season but maybe they aren't that interested in it. If teams begin ignoring Rasheed then i think he sees the ball
and Rasheed doesn't seem to be complaining about itI think you saw early on there, we had a play to Jax where, you know, that safety backside from Rashid, he knows there's a post alert, anytime that Rashid's on the field, there's a chance that you could be taking the top off. I think you're going to see that it's a dangerous thing
Re: Post Mortem: Sea v Commodes
I really do not understand the Rasheed Shaheed hand wringing. Should we trade him? Cut him? I agree he is underperforming, but Jesus Christ he bailed us out last year multiple times. Three games into this season and we're looking for a scapegoat or something. I really don't get it. No one plays atb their maximum potential 100% of snaps. Actually, we should probably fire JS. How DARE he resign him! How DARE Seattle not be 3-0, all shutouts, every single cog playing at HOF level RIGHT NOW! This just feels like searching out something to be pissed off about.
Random query - why did we play the Redskins in DC two years in a row? Aren't these matchups generally home and away in consecutive seasons? How did this happen? Weird.

Horton could do the same thing and is a better receiver. It's nice to have them both, but let's not pretend that they need him out there in order for the passing game to work.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Sep 29, 2026 6:58 pmJust having him on the field he's a threat, they can't ignore him. I don't know that, I'm mainly just reverse engineering. They gave him the contact for a reason and they are using him now for a reason. MM made a comment in terms of JSNs start that the ball will eventually find other players. Which I interpret they are riding the hot hand .

Well, the ball did find other players against WASH but RS wasn't high on the list for receiving yards. I mean, if they just needed a speed guy to stretch defenses i'm sure there were cheaper options out there. I think his punt/kick returns was at least half the reason they paid him.
