Sounds like Pete. No concept of time clock management. We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time

Re: Around the League - 26 version
It was on the D giving up 1st downs on the two 3rd and longs. The way Sam and Co. were rolling there is no way we don't get a FG after getting the ball back...

It just sounds like something PC would say. Under a different set of circumstances, of course. I think he truly believed that if there was no time clock, his team would have won every single game.
We're going to run the ball!

And the Raiders have Brock Bowers back, 10 receptions, 116 yards, TD. Saw a headline, the new JSN lol
Re: Around the League - 26 version
The Chiefs will need to find a way to contain Bowers, and the Raiders will need to find a way to contain Walker. Should be interesting.

Bowers is a TE, not a WR. Not comparable.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2026 1:57 amAnd the Raiders have Brock Bowers back, 10 receptions, 116 yards, TD. Saw a headline, the new JSN lol

True, but the game is crazy now a days. How about Ernest Jones last week breaking up that pass deep down the field? And it was only a few plays after some LB for Washington had run stride for strice with Price on a go route! The game is so different, the players are so different. Bowers is basically a WR that is big enough to play TE.

Kubiak seems to have some pieces, their defense is looking good. Their DC has been on the staff since McDaniel, survived both McDaniel and Pete getting fired and promoted to DC, that's impressive
https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/why-c ... 14310.htmlWhile Solak is claiming Bowers will be the new Smith-Njigba, what does that actually mean? In this case, it's being a team's No. 1 target by a wide margin, and someone that Kubiak is able to game plan around.
He helped JSN become the NFL Offensive Player of the Year with a great scheme, and he's doing the same with Bowers already.
"Kubiak's greatest wizardry, among his many achievements in 2025, was how he stayed ahead of defensive adjustments and always found a way to manufacture opportunities for Smith-Njigba," Solak writes.
The Raiders' tight end isn't a wide receiver, but he lines up like one often. He actually was lined up as a receiver more often than being lined up at tight end in Week 3.
