I am just thankful that John Schneider isn't second-guessing himself for not franchised tagging walker. As long as he sleeps well I sleep well.
I don't lament the walker move. It was probably the right one. We have ample RB's - they're just injured. In the long game - I am not sure Walker can sustain over 17 games - that's a lot of mileage - injury is probable. We also grabbed a great RB in the draft - much cheaper - freeing up cash to pay others. All logical moves. We skipped the injury bug last season - not this one. We also have a major draft haul coming up. Losing walker feels painful now, but that doesn't make it the wrong move. When you look at the injuries SF sustained last year - and then still won 12 games - that is really really remarkable.

It's one thing to get outplayed - it's another to make so many incredibly bad plays that they play out to a Benny Hill soundtrack - it's just cringe. This offense should be embarrassed at that performance. They should be ashamed. Let's see any moves JS makes this week 'cause the back up RB's not named WIlson gotta go. And for fuck sake get the fucking ball in Shaheeds hands. I mean wtf are we even doing here? Not even ONE jet sweep just to fuck with the defense? Really? REALLY?

In the time it took me to write that we just ran another toss sweep to the Slurpee Machine Tech who ran a blazing 27.24 forty. Failed. Not shocked.
If Charbs was HEALTHY when he let Walker walk I would totally agree but he KNEW he wouldn't be full spend until about Thanksgiving. Could have promised Walker 90% of the carries until then and he would have been good with it.

Yes, they fixed the dumb penalties and replaced them with inexcusable turnovers which are obviously worse....

But WHY Holani there? WHY?

What's the logic? Someone please tell me.

That's a free 7 points that loses us the game.

And even the broadcasters were laughing at how loose he carries the ball. Surely the coaches have seen this from him as well.

You give HIM the carry from that field position? REALLY????

This team is 5 and 0 if they don't turn the ball over repeatedly. Maybe Walker solves that, but I'm not sure. One less INT from Sam in each game and we win both of them and no one cares that Walker is in KC. The bigger loss was Kubiak. Fleury is ass.
Maybe but Walker has lost ZERO Fumbles in 908 carries and 145 receptions.

Another negative from this game was #57 got ejected early for the 9ers and the announcers said he was a key piece. Hawks unable to take advantage of that and win the game.

"The fumble" was bad.

Jobe was getting worked over by Mike Evans.

Seahawks still seem like a good team. Certainly they were capable of winning that one. It just sucks, because historically they don't do well in the playoffs without the home field advantage and that is looking like a longshot at this point. Oh well. Guess we'll see how they respond from laying that egg.

Fleury is ass. I still don't get the logic of lining up Holani at the 3 yard line in a deep I-formation for that play at the end of the first half.

Why would Darnold just not fall forward 3 times on the line of scrimmage, and if you have to punt with a few seconds left, so be it. So the 49ers had 3 timeouts. Who gives a fuck. Fall on the ball and punt it out of there. Dickson can boom it past the 50 and the 49ers dont get shit.
Just stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid. Between Fleury and Darnold both having low football IQs, we're in deep shit trouble.
It was a really interesting dilemma - if we do that - SF calls three time outs and very likely gets the ball back - likely near the 50 - wiht time for a couple plays and a FG chance. Did we use a FB on that play? Be a good place/time to run a fullback dive there. The deep set was absolutely baffling.

Also, why was that punt not fielded? We gave up ten yards on that. Huge difference maker in that situation. Just brutal fucking decision making all the way around.
There was 18 seconds left. Run three plays at 2 seconds each and there is 12 seconds left. Even with a fair catch on the punt is going to take at least 6 seconds. 6 seconds left and no time outs gives you time for nothing but a hail mary.

It never fails. Do stupid shit that's totally preventable and it costs you a critical game. Just ask Philadelphia and the Washington Commanders this weekend. Just mind-numbingly STUPID shit.

Didn't MM call a timeout instead of letting the time run out, which led to this fuckery? I thought I remembered that.
Anyway, in a game with many fucked up things, the fumble in the endzone was easily the worst, IMO. I genuinely felt embarrassed to be
a Seahawk fan for a minute.
Sure, JSN usually catches that pass, but Sam was trying to avoid another pick and ended up with floating it a little high. It was not
an easy catch. Kupp almost erased it, but didn't get it done. That's what you get when you fuck around sometimes.
I like what Auro said - is this the end of this BS, or the beginning? That is the true question.
I now laugh at my March 2026 self for wondering how this team could possibly regress. Now, I'm saying they better pick it up, as
this is now a window. Pull out the stops and get another one, or it might be another long wait. And I'm old AF.
