Today's games
Re: Today's games
GB is ahead of the Titans by 19 and the Titans block a punt returning it 50 yards. But no, the officials have to step in and help GB out. A guy that the video shows was NOT offside is called offside and they have to bring the ball back and replay the down. With all the penalties out there you could call on every down, it is ridiculous that the officials will step in and influence the outcome of a game. if the call had not been made, would it have made a difference in the game? Doubtful.
Re: Today's games
Joe Buck... schmuck.
Terry Bradshaw... belongs in an old folks home.
Collinsworth... total ass-kisser.
It's not enough that the Titans have to beat GB. Apparently they also have to beat the refs. Especially when a GB player steps OUT OF BOUNDS and is allowed to continue down to the 3 yard line.
From ESPN... The Packers snapped the ball just after a replay showed Jones stepped out of bounds during that run and gained well over 30 yards afterward.

Yeah, saw that. And you can see the official watching the play from 10 yards away with no one blocking his view. What in the hell was he doing? Thinking about getting home and sitting by the fire with a hot toddy? Fucking worthless official!

He's either incompetent, blind or a Packers fan. Blatantly pathetic.

Re: Today's games
That was bad, but still not as bad as the grounding call they missed on Wentz. They actually watch the guy on the sidelines catch the ball five yards from the sticks and don’t throw the flag!
Re: Today's games
The NFL is asking officials to take control of the game mainly because they don't want the offensive stars to get hurt. Thus we see more and more the officials inserting themselves into the outcome of the game. I'm not saying GB wouldn't have kicked ass anyway, but something needs to be done to place the officials at the end of the line when it comes to deciding outcomes of games. Many times, they currently insinuate themselves to the forefront, either by not making a call, or by calling something that they otherwise ignore.
Solution? Have the "stars" wear pink tutus and don't allow anyone to touch them.

Call me crazy, but both the Bills and the Ravens look more dangerous to me right now than the Chiefs. If they played next week, I would favor either of them to beat KC.

Did you watch the Ravens against the Chiefs? The Chiefs have been in cruise control for weeks? As long as Lamar the slot receiver Jackson plays QB for the Ravens? They won’t scare anyone in the playoffs.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 8:44 pmCall me crazy, but both the Bills and the Ravens look more dangerous to me right now than the Chiefs. The Lions plan to steal John Schneider away.
I wouldn't be all together disappointed if that rumor were true. Schneider has had a great career with the Hawks. No doubt. But he feels like that aging former pro bowler who doesn't produce much any more. A change might be good for Pete Caroll as well. Maybe a new GM will give him more push back when he wants to give away first round draft picks and constantly trade down.

The Ravens are just 20 yards away from breaking the NFL record for team rushing yards in a game.
