Investing that much money in one player that isn't even a QB seems unwise.

There's always hand wringing over deals. The doom and gloom over the RW contract with the Broncos, it was very unwise. But what's the consequences, the broncos were supposedly crippled financially. It doesn't look that way to me, or even being crippled they are doing a pretty good job of things these days.

$47M a season. The Pack had the 4th ranked defense last year.
Yeah those picks will likely be 25th or worse.
or as local cynics call it, those picks will be "Colliers".
if they werent already favored over the Lions for that division, they certainly will be now.
Ugh, I had actually forgotten that fuckers name. He had five sacks in his career, four of them were one yard losses were he was standing at the LOS and grabbed a guy scrambling…and he danced like he won the Super Bowl. I am of course making up those numbers, but I think I’m pretty close. This one was up there with bone head Pete and John moves, that is for sure. Hated him when we picked him and my hatred grew every snap he played. Which wasn’t many.

We’ve been hearing about the demise of the Rams since they paid Todd Gurley. There are ways around it….its just an excuse for poorly run organizations.
