Hopefully Dissly stays healthy.
You can say that about any player on the roster.

DK Metcalf
David Moore
Gary Jennings
LT
Duane Brown
Jamarco Jones

Germain Ifedi
George Fant
TE
Will Dissly
Nick Vannett traded

Who's even our backup now?
Fant or Jacob Hollister from the practice squad.

I thought they were high on Vannett going into the season. A 5th rounder? WTF?? How do you just give him away like that after all the time and effort they've invested in developing him? He must have done something or some things during the game that pissed off Carroll.

A quick visit to the ST website reveals that they are bringing Luke Willson back.

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/sea ... -steelers/

That's terrific, but I think you have to conclude that the 3rd round pick they used on Vannett was wasted.

he is in the final year of his rookie contract, they flip him for a 5th instead of his walking...doesn't seem like a waste to me

Chuck on KJR was saying Luke Willson has the same skill set as Zack Miller. The guy couldn't even make an NFL roster going in to this season. Oh but he's a whacky character and his locker room influence is going to make his team-mates better football players lol.

29 catches in 3 years. That was a waste.

so you are saying he wasn't productive?...so by all means flip him for a 5th, seems to me you are trying to have it both ways

I wouldn't go as far to say a waste but damn strange. Some players and picks might be going to Jacksonville.

A third round pick in the 2016 draft out of Ohio State, the 6-foot-3, 261-pound Vannett has played in 42 NFL regular-season games, netting 16 career starts. He has 46 career receptions for 463 yards and four scores. Vannett caught four of five targets for 38 yards in his three games for Seattle this season. He was passed up on the Seahawks' depth chart by Will Dissly, a second round pick in the 2018 draft who has three touchdowns in Seattle's past two games.
he has been passed by Dissly on the Hawk depth chart, so you get a fifth for him, i really do not see the hard part in that at all, I think its kind of clever in fact...
