Guys all these injuries and suspensions are mounting. We have tough games down the stretch (SF X2, Vikings, Rams, Eagles are all playoff caliber, The Cards are probably tougher than 3-4-1 indicates, the Bucs are 2-5 even the Panthers have 5 wins and seem to always play us physically. After Tampa we could be should be 7-2. After that we really need to be whole to beat other playoff level teams. I question if we can lose Britt and Pocici and have questions about Brown, and Fluker. There was a reason Britt started over Hunt, and Pocic was the presumptive sub at several positions.
Last week I did a post about how several position groups were missing key personel:
TE We lost the starter that had a perfect passer rating with Wilson that is an elite player that is out for the season.Who knows if we get Dickson back and when. Oh, and we also traded away Vannette.
OL Brown, Fluker, Britt, Pocic, Ifedi even Fant was on the injury report this week ( Hunt can't very well replace everyone can he?)
DL We missed Reed for 6 games, Jefferson is Q and has been a breakout player. Ansah is Q
DBs, Safety Flowers, Hill, McDougald, Diggs are on the report

I really don't know how positive I can be about a team that has so many position groups with significant losses.
Would be nice if our 1st round pick would be contributing even slightly to an area of greatest need. Collier is making Penny seem like a HOFer. We can't keep blowing 1st round picks. It will catch up eventually.

A bit of good news:

Duane Brown doing pull-ups on a recently injured biceps. Tre Flowers coming back from a neck injury. Ed Dickson coming off IR. This is shaping up to be a replenishing week for #Seahawks starters https://thenewstribune.com/sports/nfl/s ... 04338.html

Well, if Dickson follows the trend of Seahawk players coming off injury/holdout/suspension, it will take until week 17 before he can get his body into playing shape.

If they were marathon runners instead of football players they would only be able to run 100 yards in week one, 200 yards in week 2 before finally reaching 26.2 miles when they are about 57 years old.

When Justin Britt went down, Russell Wilson turned to Joey Hunt and said, "Joe, I know you got this."

Then he turned to his #Seahawks teammates and said, "You all know Joe's got this, huh?"

Everyone shook their head in agreement (via

Britt's pretty expensive
Britt, meanwhile, is scheduled to have the third-highest cap number among centers -- $11.67 million -- in the final year of his contract next season as he comes off a serious injury. This is very much an audition for Hunt.

So far the leader in the clubhouse for 1st round pick is either OL or DB.
