And there you have it. Good thing we couldn't part with a small MLB in the first enough to even make them an offer! Of course, the Jags would have probably not taken him, so we would have just been stuck with him with our next pick...since he'd have still been available. Hell, probably with our next three picks.

I say give the man his money for a 2 year deal and be done with it.
The rookies will be ready to take over by then.
With Clowney I actually like our defense this upcoming season.
He gets another "core" issue and we're screwed though.
Upside worth the risk.
Without I got doubt.

According to Clayton we now have four Leos and Green and Collier manning the 5 Technique. Who gets cut to bring in Clowney? Not that I care who, because I want him here too....but it looks to me like we are moving on.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:42 amhttps://12thmanrising.com/2020/04/27/se ... clowney-3/

Re: More on Clowney
lot of people saying Robinson is raw, needs to develop more moves, so he could easily be stashed on the PS. that takes care of 1. also realize that we are carrying fewer than usual DTs - think that is because they're content with both Poona and Reed on early downs and can rotate Green and Collier in there on passing downs, taking away some of their snaps at 5-tech. but their snaps at that position would be quite limited anyway if/when Clowney returns. and you can always anticipate some injuries to further thin the herd. but i do think Clowney's reps go down regardless, want to keep them fresh like they could not do last year given the inferior depth.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 1:53 amAccording to Clayton we now have four Leos and Green and Collier manning the 5 Technique.
