Dunbar's in the pokey
Re: Dunbar's in the pokey
Not turning your head around is tantamount to begging the official to call a PI on you.

like they point out, knowing when to turn his head is something he needs to learn, how to read the receiver. Its not something he was as accustomed to playing safety.

I could literally an NFL coach specializing only in this aspect of the game. When you are 40 yards down field and the WR's eyes are open as wide as saucers the Ball is in the Air! FFS how tough is it? Its not just him, I see this hundreds of times a game and I literally scream turn your head around!Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 2:06 pmlike they point out, knowing when to turn his head is something he needs to learn, how to read the receiver. Damn I channeled Biden there with hundreds of times a game. Meant season. lolD-train wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 2:21 pmI could literally an NFL coach specializing only in this aspect of the game. Re: Dunbar's in the pokey
well what counts is if he can get better at it, I can understand his getting schooled occasionally by a skillful WR, but that was last season
Re: Dunbar's in the pokey
Yep, odd that it happened at the end of his second season. I don't remember it happening prior.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 2:42 pmwell what counts is if he can get better at it, I can understand his getting schooled occasionally by a skillful WR, but that was last season
What is your guess on Dunbar's fate?

I think there is zero chance he is 100% innocent but a decent chance he gets off.

Why is jail called the "pokey?"
Is it because of what happens to you in the shower with Bubba?

Re: Dunbar's in the pokey
Funny you ask. I looked it up yesterday...
“Pokey” as slang for “jail” dates to early 20th century America and is actually a variant form of “pogey,” a 19th century English word for “poorhouse” or “welfare hotel.” The roots of “pogey” are largely a mystery, but the word may be related to the adjective “poky,” an interesting word in itself.Feb 22, 2009
