I don't they are expecting much from Penny this season, he could miss half of it, but doubt he is going anywhere

So they are talking to Harrison, I bet Gordon returns, they could still sign Clowney, but hey, who cares, the off season grades have already been issued.

   Hyde is definitely worth more than a Penny.
I agree - have always liked Hyde, and unhappy when the 9ers got him. fortunately they didnt have a line at the time or he may have still been there, not sure why he's bounced around so much, other than the overall devaluing of RBs outside of a few franchises. guess rookie Deejay has to be happy it's him over Freeman - should still get first chance to be the 3rd down back now. dont think he would have if Freeman's here.

more Clowney click bait
SI’s Albert Breer says that at this point, two teams make sense for Clowney. Per YardBarker:

“The ship sailed on him getting the big contract,” Breer said in an interview with Madelyn Burke, as transcribed by Sports Illustrated. “Too many needs have been filled across the league. Too much cap space has been used up. So if you’re Jadeveon Clowney I think you go to a place where you know you’re gonna be able to play well. Going back to Seattle would be one option. The scheme fits you. They know you. Maybe a place like Tennessee where you’ve got a connection on the coaching staff. Mike Vrabel was his position coach for four years in Houston. You go to a place where you can set yourself up for success. Hope that you have a big year in 2020. And again, just like (free agent) Cam (Newton), come back in 2021. Hoping you can hit it big financially then.”

you mean faith in the team as is?...Clowney and Griffen are both still out there, guess I would be kind of surprised if when they both finally sign neither of them are in Seattle. Here is Clayton on the Hyde signing, guess what, he likes it. He is thinking tackle

Getting the veteran running back and bringing Geno Smith back as the backup quarterback leaves Schneider with one acquisition on his to-do list. He needs a run-stopping defensive tackle. By not going overboard and signing Freeman at his price, the Seahawks could strike gold if they can land Damon “Snacks’’ Harrison.

If his nickname wasn't "snacks" not one fan would be interested in Damon Harrison. Marcel Dareus is STILL out there.
Didn't Snacks retire?

I'm thinking that having Penny starting out on IR will let the Hawks keep the other four RBs on the roster, and at least see them in game action. DeeJay or Homer are both vying for one roster spot it appears to me.
