Brown let's it slip that Hawks are opening up offense in 2019
Re: Brown let's it slip that Hawks are opening up offense in 2019
The better the run game is working, the more they will "open it up".
That's how the Seahawks offense works. The ratio of run to pass will stay
even to more run, but the "explosive plays" will work. The Seahawks have big
dudes on the O-line now and RW can sling it. That's what's going to "open it up".

i thought he was talking about himself, they are opening it up for him
“When I say that, I mean I’m kind of being thrown around everywhere,” he said.
“I’ll leave it at that; I’m playing multiple positions.”

That was after he realized he slipped up and was back tracking. Greg Bell was on the radio describing the entire exchange. btw I listen to him on KJR every morning at about 7am driving to work. I like him a lot better than Clayton.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:08 ami thought he was talking about himself, they are opening it up for him

Dude, never been that sick. Was on the couch for 4 days...and pretty much did NOTHING. If Prosise had that and practiced the next day? No way, that guy would be out a month with that virus.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 7:39 pmMaybe you can hook up with Prosise and get a two for 1 flu shot this year!Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 6:05 pmYeah, I think the lack of screen passes was more a Bevell and Cable issue, not an O Lineman and RB issue.
I miss Bevell and Cable about as much as I miss the flu bug that hit me last December!

Did they work?ThePro wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 9:41 pmThey did that last year.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 9:17 pmHow about trying some screen passes to Penny or whoever?

First you say they should run screens . They did. Now it's "did they work"? Define "work"? Did they score a TD every time it was called? No. My suggestion is there is a new invention called a television. Using this technology allows you to watch a broadcast of Seahawks games every Sunday, sometimes Thursday or Monday. But mostly Sundays.

So, in other words, they ran maybe 3 screen plays all season and you only remember that because it was such a shock to see them run even one.
By the way, do you know where i might be able to get one of those telio-vision thingies?

Bell is better on the Hawks, because that is his beat. Clayton's beat is the whole league, especially all the front office and organizational goings-on behind the curtains. i think we are really spoiled here having his national intel, as a local, in addition to the fine in-depth coverage of Bell (among others), plus local draft guru Rob Rang occasionally, plus the fine technical analysis of Hugh Millen more regularly (for both college and pro). as opposed to all the surface level blowhards i hear from other big markets.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:41 amThat was after he realized he slipped up and was back tracking.
