I would've liked to see more than 7 carries.

Substitutes Danny O'neil and Bob Skelton on 710 this morning were actually speculating SEA might trade Penney and keep Prosise. I can't imaging being that stupid, but they were saying it.

I have heard that from other sources as well. Might be the only way the deal gets done.

Seahawks would never do that.

I had Mingo getting cut anyways, so the 2 for 1 swap for Clowney doesnt really add a spot imo, but having Griffin go to IR would help, maybe makes room for Calitro. think Shead gets cut as someone not likely to be picked up, and then resigned shortly thereafter. Procises' last 2 performances prolly lift him over both Homer and Mckissic, at least one of whom likely makes it to PS. my sleeper pick for surprising cut (not predicting, just saying 50-50) is Akeem King - didnt look too good to me in preseason. big Q is Jazz or Jennings? (counting Ursua as safe). hard to imagine either of those making it past the poachers to reach the PS.
then you wonder who else they'll add from other team cuts - maybe another veteran receiver? i'd cut an extra one of those interior DTs in the early season if needed to get a vet receiver to give the youngins time to develop (dont seem much separation between Mitchell, Meder, and Mone - all of them seem easily obtainable later, and dont really need that same depth right until later, after some initial wear and tear.
i know hawks notorious for late info release, but any word on their cuts yet (just over an hour left)?

As part of the impact from the Jadeveon Clowney trade, the #Seahawks are expected to release starting WR Jaron Brown, a cap casualty, source said. They need to fit in Clowney’s tag.

I would not have expected that. We don't have a lot of receivers for Cincinnati.

HOU: We won't deal Clowney for anything other than O-Linemen

SEA: No

HOU: Okay, good point. What About D-Linemen?

SEA: No

HOU: Damn, you're right. How about a Top 50 pick?

SEA: We'll give you a late Day 2 pick and bad LBs

HOU: You got a deal

It's a crime which occurred across state lines, so I believe the FBI would have jurisdiction.
