Like choosing between Rosanne Barr and Scarlett Johansson to go out on a date...
You make it sound like an easy choice

I see above that Kafka is out. Is Grubb your choice? Seems like a big leap, especially with a new head coach whose experience is on the defensive side. I'd think they'd at least consider an experienced (in the pros) OC or even former head coach.

Problem is like with Kafka all lateral moves can be blocked. It isn't a leap imo to go from OC in college to the Pros. Less of a leap going than from a position coach in the NFL to calling plays for the first time like Waldron...

Why couldn't we just go after DeBoer & then maybe bring Grubb along as a position coach. No other names connected either, that's what's weird. No word on Tee Martin either.

Well there's the issue of salary. You're going to top what he's making now at Alabama which is around $10 mil a season for your OC?

KDB is only making about $11M, Grubb isn't making anything close to that. Jody has more money than Alabama.
That made DeBoer the 44th-highest-paid coach in college football. To compare, Saban ranked first among all coaches at public schools with a $11.4 million salary in 2023.

Why would we hire the OC, you really think Grubb was the one calling the plays & not Kalen. Not saying we shouldn't. That's like saying hire Bieniemy when Andy was calling plays in KC. I'm just amazed more named have not surfaced.

Sometimes the OC calls the plays sometimes the HC does. Grubb was the play caller

It is absolutely preposterous to think that KDB would accept the best College HC job in the country and then take a massive pay cut a month later to quit to come back to Seattle to be an OC for the Hawks. Bat shat CRAZY!      And there is absolutely NOTHING to suggest that Grubb wasn't calling the plays.....
