Sherman was pulled over just before 2 a.m. Saturday for driving 79 mph (127 kmh) in a 60 mph (97 kmh) zone on Interstate 405 south of Seattle, Washington State Patrol Trooper Jordan Hazzard-Thomas wrote in a probable cause statement. His eyes were bloodshot and watery, he smelled of intoxicants, and he declined to take a breath test, Hazzard-Thomas wrote.

$5000 bail.

11 mph slower than Geno. If he isn't even as fast as Geno his Achilles must still be bothering him.

Sherman, a three-time All-Pro cornerback, had an 11-year NFL career
That shocked me. The way this man talks, he was the greatest to ever play. Three seems low. I tried to Google to get a list of just CBs, and couldn't seem to find one. Even quickly tried a few other lists to see if I could sort by position and couldn't.

Quick search, and I could only find a list that showed total FIRST team selections, Ronnie Lott had six, but I know he moved to Safety pretty early in his career. Rod Woodson had six, but again, moved to Safety towards the end. I actually thought that to extend his career Richard might look at a move to Safety.

Deon had six, but found another list that said nine, so obviously he had three second team selections.

Bobby has six on the first team!

Sherman was All-pro 2nd team twice so made All-pro five times.

It goes back to what was mentioned earlier...

Dude was a solid player. He's obviously intelligent. But some of these bonehead decisions are pretty ridiculous.

Sometimes these guys struggle to get out of their own way.

Makes sense. Odd that was phrased as three times. It should have been First Team All Pro three times, right?

Where is I-405 south of Seattle in the story? Did he get popped in Factoria, Renton, Tukwila, Rat City?

Kind of a hokey way to describe where Sherm messed up.

Also, why is I-405 an Interstate, anyway?

lol why do you need to know the exact mile marker? Its probably Renton area down there by 167. Rotten luck really - I drive that from time to time and everybody there drives 75-80 all the time and you rarely ever see any cops - that's basically why people drive so fast. If you drive 70 you better be in the slow lane or you'll get cut off left/right by angry drivers. Not half as bad as I-5 though lol.

Renton is where he got pulled over.

Because it is and extension of I-5. There are a lot of them around the country. I 205 is almost an identical one near Portland.

At 2am on a Saturday there're going to be cops, looking for DUIs.
