Carson's the guy who hits the defense and wears them out, and then Penny's the guy who can run by them late in the game. Prosise too as we saw yesterday.

I expect a crow eating post coming from you two when Penny does what Carson did yesterday in a
game where Carson doesn't suit up due to injury. I predict we will need Penny and be glad to have
him before the season is over.
I have never seen Penny run over dudes.
He doesn't have to do that to impact a game.
I agree but I don't think he will ever have the impact on a game that Carson had yesterday.

He scored the go ahead TD in Pittsburgh until Carson coughed it up. You don't know what he is or can do with so few carries.

This is weird. Both ESPN and NFL.com have Carson with 2 fumbles. I thought he fumbled vs. the Bengals and then vs. the Steelers he had a punch out and the botched hand off (I think they game that one to RW). And then he had the nightmare one vs. the Saints that was returned for a TD.

He has at least 3, right? This also has RW with only 1 fumble. He had two in yesterday's game alone. Weird.

Rashaad Penny (Hamstring)
Second-year running back Rashaad Penny has been held from the past two games with a hamstring injury, but Carroll said Penny “looked like he could have gone” against the Cardinals, an encouraging sign for a Week 5 return against the Rams.
“Now it’s just about time,” Carroll said. “He looked ready to play. He looked like he could have gone. It’s just it was kind of defying the timeframe for a hamstring to be ready in eight days, of the severity that it was. He’ll do more running than other guys because he didn’t play and all, and we’ll be able to test him, but in the actual practice reps there won’t be many opportunities for him to show more. So we are anticipating that he’s healthy unless there’s reason to think otherwise.”

I think the plan is to lean on Penny a little more than usual this Thursday. I think if his hammy is good, he will respond.

Is it just me or does Penny still look a bit on the chunky side?

google says the thickness of a penny should be 1.52 mm, so yes, i would say he still looks a little heavy. ;)
