Olu and Lucas got game balls. Yeah, no more taking games off. I do think that was what Pete was good at, pushing the buttons, pulling the levers, getting it rolling

As one reddit poster mentioned, Macdonald seems to be getting more comfortable with his speeches (and his players). It's nice to see.

A bit more optimism than a one-game winning streak warrants methinks.

Like I said every win means we have a shot for a deep run in the playoffs and every loss means we have zero chance to win another game the rest of the season. The reaction to losses are even more over the top than wins.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 6:23 pmA bit more optimism than a one-game winning streak warrants methinks.

I approve this message- It's now time ( Old Seahawk ad campaign that went nowhere ) Huge win over the Niners and now the Cards in the Nest this weekend- Conner-Murray-Harrison- A pretty legit triple threat these days- D needs to keep it going and lets find some more offense. Please no more draw plays for Charb- ThxD-train wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2024 2:20 pmHe seems to have the Locker room. Only two 'experts' picking SEA. Same as last week. Could be a good sign.

Where the Seahawks need to improve. They really aren't the team they once were. What happened to the team that'd take the ball away and then run it up your ass?
Seattle ranks 26th in turnover margin at minus-6, tied with the 2-8 Giants and the 3-8 Patriots (all stats provided by TruMedia unless stated otherwise). The Seahawks are 28th in turnover EPA, which measures the impact of their turnovers and takeaways. Seattle’s only win with a negative turnover differential came in Week 3 against the Tua Tagovailoa-less Dolphins (minus-2). The Seahawks lost the turnover battle in four of their five losses (against the Giants, both teams coughed it up once)
I used to like that, the sort of team they were. It get characterized as a dinosaur, Pete going on about the need to run the ball. But it's true, got to be able to run the ballThe Seahawks rank 30th in designed rush rate and 29th in EPA per play on those carries. So not only do they rarely run the ball, but they’re also not good at it when they do. The Cardinals and Jets have below-average run defenses by yards per game and success rate, so this is the perfect time for Seattle to find its groove.

And even though they ran the ball sucessfully post Lynch under Carroll, they never ran enough to make his commitment to the run game seem very serious.

Collier and Dallas probably kill us
According to Pro Football Focus, Collier leads the Cardinals in pressures with 21 and hurries with 16, having played the most snaps of any defensive lineman for an Arizona team that has won four in a row and is 6-4 overall, the only team in the NFC West with a winning record.
“He’s playing hard out there, he’s getting after it,” Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith said this week of Collier. “He’s the same guy he was here. Just a hard worker and a guy who’s going to give maximum effort, and he’s going to do whatever it takes. I know it’s going to mean a lot for him to play against us.”
DeeJay Dallas, a reserve running back and special-teamer for Seattle the previous four years, holds the same role for Arizona. He leads the team in kickoff returns with 13 for 399 yards and a touchdown.
