You mean the game plan that resulted in them giving up a total of 9 points in the last two games. I kind of think if they game plan like that they will win easily.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Dec 08, 2025 8:34 pmThe Seahawks have had a cake schedule so far (26th SOS) and on top of that have faced backup QBs in 4 of their last 6 games including a practice squad level QB vs MIN. If their game planning/prep for SF and LAR is as poor as it was in the last two games they are going to lose both of those games no matter how many half-time adjustments they make.

LOL, right? #2 in points scored and #2 in points allowed, in the second week of December....but it's because we have played a cake schedule I guess. We have played well enough to win every single game we have played. I just don't get the pessimism. That is saying a lot coming from me.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 5:14 pm

It would seem that not believing they are the best team in the league is pessimism then. Believing that they are merely a playoff team that will most likely finish 2nd in their division makes me Debbie Downer.
Here are the quarterbacks the Seahawks have faced so far this season...
Brock Purdy
Aaron Rodgers
Spencer Rattler
Kyler Murray
Baker Mayfield
Trevor Lawrence
CJ Stroud
Jayden Daniels
Jacoby Brissett
Mathew Stafford
Cameron Ward
Maximilion Brosmer
Kirk Cousins
That's one QB in the top 10 for QBR.

This team is the best Seahawk team we've had in a long time, but in order to avoid any fuckery regarding playoffs, we need to beat theMichael K. wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 7:06 pmLOL, right? #2 in points scored and #2 in points allowed, in the second week of December....but it's because we have played a cake schedule I guess. Rams and the 49ers. They both beat us in the first meeting. That's not pessimism, that's reality. This team is game and may just do all of it,
but it hasn't happened yet.

What happened to Arroyo? He's been a total non-factor. 15 catches for 179 yards on 26 targets. Nick freakin Kallerup has had a bigger impact.
Re: Seahawks vs Falcos game thread
Now he is dinged up for this week. Still, Barner has gotten the bulk of it. I think Arroyo is a good rook with an impact future here. He sort of reminds me of Dave Casper way back when. This offense isn't there yet, and I'm not sure they've even incorporated the right playbook for the options they have, including at TE.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:53 pmWhat happened to Arroyo? Just wish they had used that pick on a C or G and taken a TE later in the draft, like with the pick they used on Cabeldue.

The Rams Lost games with Mac Jones and Bryce Young as the opposing QB's
The Hawks have played 6 teams that are currently in a playoff position. They have lost 3 games by a total of 9 Points. Even with 4 picks, If the last punt bounces a bit different and goes into the end zone instead of bouncing out at the half yard line they probably win Rams game. I see zero reason to believe they are going to lose again to the Rams.

Re: Seahawks vs Falcos game thread
Have you watched those guys when they are NOT playing us? Brock Purdy was healthy, until he played us. Aaron Rodgers has put up decent numbers, and certainly has the ability. Mayfield was in the MVP conversation for awhile. Lawrence is a former #1 draft pick, so is Stroud and Daniels was what, #2? Stafford is STILL in the MVP conversation, Ward was a #1 pick and Cousins just TORCHED the Buccaneers.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 9:08 pmIt would seem that not believing they are the best team in the league is pessimism then. Me thinks you are GROSSLY understating what this defense has done. This is a team much like the LOB. Look at the injury report AFTER teams play us! I believe I heard Brock say the Rams listed four starters as out the week after they played us.
Rattler, Murray and Brosmer on that list aren't NFL QBs. Everyone else you listed? Come on man. You're insistence on nit picking this team HAS to be killing what should be a lot of joy. I'll say it again, this is a year or too early. I expected them to maybe contend for a WC spot this year, not the #1 seed.
