That was the first Seahawk game I ever attended, and it was right after the Efren Herrera Monday Night game in Atlanta. The Hawks actually had a top-five offense that season so it was probably the flukiest game in NFL history. The second game I attended was their next home game against the Saints and they whooped them.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Oct 20, 2025 5:39 pmHey, they got a first downDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 20, 2025 5:20 pmSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Oct 19, 2025 8:36 pmJust 96 yards of offense for the Raiders. But Pete must have been pretty happy because they dominated the punting game 283 yards to 106.![]()
That's the second weekend in a row (the Jets last weekend) that a team has been held under 100 yards in total offense and I believe that it had been several years since someone got held to under 100 yards. With today's rules it's virtually impossible to not get over 100 yards of total offense yet two teams have done it in back-to-back weekends. Even so, our minus-7 yard day in 1979 will last forever.

Yeah, they had a decent team that season. My first game was a bit different. It was the Bills game in 1977, where they put up 56 points.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 20, 2025 5:48 pmThat was the first Seahawk game I ever attended, and it was right after the Efren Herrera Monday Night game in Atlanta. Nice win by the Lions. Still not a fan of the 2 MNF game format. Alas.
Re: Around the League
Stroud has season-high 318 yards passing with two TDs to lead the Texans over the 49ers 26-15
Re: Around the League
Hopefully it's the unraveling of me thinking the Seahawks aren't good enough to win against their division rivals.
Despite it being sloppy and sometimes timid, the Hawks looked a lot better against the Texans than the 9ers did.

No way PIT should have lost last night wearing those iconic jerseys.

Rumblings that Lockett is signing with the Raiders. Now all Carroll has to do is trade for Russ and change the Raider colors to blue and green and the transformation is complete.
