Fire Schneider? Probably the right move. Dude has NO clue what he's doing... right? Macdonald likely signed off on this.

Only a reach if it doesn't work... the draft board sites didn't have him as high...

But Rob Staton actually predicted this pick. Mel Kiper named him specifically for this pick too.

And now with no extra day 2 pick they're fucked at two of CB, Edge and OG.

But yeah, fucking HOORAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!
long time until the season starts - still FA and trade targets to be had. think Kayvon Thibaodeaux now that the Giants have 3 other big name pass rushers. or a stopgap like Von Miller or Joey Bosa who want a shot at a ring before they go out. and should still be a decent corner at 64 - Keionte Scott or Julian Neal.

I do agree that they should have traded back...

If the Titans were looking to trade up (they moved into 31), why didn't the Hawks just trade them the 32nd pick? They would have traded back to 35, likely acquired a 4th rounder for their troubles and Price would have very likely still been there.

Good call DT. Glad they got him after my guy went off the board earlier.
Yeah Johnson is obviously a great player didn't come very close to falling to us....

I love it AND was obviously expecting it. When JS went on record publicly that he wanted to trade down I knew it was the most obvious bluff in draft history. lol

TBF, Johnson was a 2nd to 3rd round grade by most pundits too.

He was another name however that I heard the Hawks were quite high on.
