He's got the Hawks filling the inside in later rounds. You don't necessarily have to grab them in the 1st 2 rounds. There will be other pieces there in the 3rd and 4th.

And yeah I'm starting to think that the Cardinals might trade out of that 3rd spot more and more.
I have been advocating using the later rounds to fill out the needs, but I don't understand everybody drafting edges at all (other than Richardson, none of them are top-5 talents). The position is just full of young talent already, where so many others are lacking. My guess, though, is they are targeting Carter, and might have a pass rusher in their sights later if they drop. Somebody like Van Ness or Foskey.

I think there's a good chance the Cardinals trade out, but it won't be with the Seahawks. In addition to just not thinking the Seahawks would do such a thing, I don't think the Cardinals would make such a high profile deal with a division rival.

I'm not advocating that Seattle is trading with Seattle. That's the last team on earth that they will trade with. And Seattle isn't positioning themselves for Carter. There's no way in this earth realm with his character flags and offseason hullabaloo that that they think he's a fit for this lockerroom. He's the worst pick you could make at 5.

The most likely teams to trade up with Arizona are Tennessee, Las Vegas, Baltimore, and Washington. Seattle will take one of the 4 QB's or Edge Will Anderson if they stay put at 5.

If you told me last year that Seattle had a chance to get Will Anderson in the draft, the best overall player, I wouldn't have believed it.

If they somehow were able to pull that trade off, wonder who would win it?

Can you imagine trading all the way up from 16 to 3. Holy crap, that'd be the haul of all haul's. Definite 1st next year. Their definitely in full tank mode. My guess is Tennessee. Hard to imagine what happens to Malik Willis if they do end up moving up to take a QB.

Maybe at 20. You can always add weight. And it can take a year or so over 22 years of age to learn that sometimes you don't need to go full bore in past the Tackle to get the QB. But DE is a very fun position to play so I can see why he did that. Patience has it's rewards, though.

I don't like this Mock. An OT at five and then trading up to get Levis....when we passed on Richardson earlier? Other thinking things, IMO.
