Today doesn't seem to be the day the 49er take their first loss.

49ers are going to take a 24 point lead into the half. Just a hunch but I think they win by more than 7.

Sure enough, the Panthers score a TD and on the ensuing drive the Niners get faced with a 3td and 6, and instead of running a dive play with the intent to then kick the ball the Niners let their quarterback make a play and shortly thereafter the Niners score a TD.

It's just too bad Carroll thinks he still has 2012 Russell Wilson as his QB.

The way he calls plays it's like he thinks he has twelve-year-old Russell Wilson as his QB

Was that Carroll or Schotty calling those 3rd down plays? And why didn't Wilson change the play at the line?

I guess the obvious answer is that they were trying to run out the clock for most of the second half.

And while our 24 point lead dwindled to 7 at the end of the game, The 49ers extend their lead from 24 to 38 points. But of course the aren't smart enough to use PCs brilliant philosophies.

Last week they coached scared and lost. This week they coach scared and nearly blew a 24 point lead to a backup QB.

I wonder how Wilson and Schwaub would have done today if they switched teams.

I looked it up and that was the 3rd most yards Schaub has thrown for in a game in over 92 career starts. When you consider that he is 38 and has been riding the pine for over 5 years that is pretty embarrassing for the Seahawks.

Give Wilson the second half opportunities Schwaub had and Wilson wins. One coach had a washed up QB, and down 24 played to win. The other had an MVP candidate and spent the second have spitting up on himself.

My cousin was here from LA. My wife and I took her all over the Valley visiting wineries. We left at halftime. Bit was an absolutely beautiful day here. Much better than watching Husky or Seahawk offenses trying to protect a lead! And my wife is a happy camper!

More proof that punting repeatedly with a lead is silly!
