If anything I would say it's the Seahawks fault. It's always been their failure.

Firing OCs so people stop talking about how shitty the GM is at building an O Line? I agree. Firing OCs because they tried to force a square peg in a round hole, then blamed the peg? Agree.

I’m tired of Schneider. He’s full of shit. We’ve never had an O Line better than average, and most have been shitty to very shitty. Then they wonder why they can’t be consistent on offense. And don’t get me started with this complimentary football bullshit. Why is that always about the offense? Force a fucking punt, get a fucking turnover…something besides give up three and four play scoring drives late in games. Nope, complimentary means the offense milks the clock all game while the defense chills? Complimentary is punting is better than taking a shot?

I like some of what I’ve read about Kubiak, but I am pretty sure he’ll be exactly what the test of them were. A scapegoat because the defensive minded coach and GM that can’t build an O Line need a head to chop.

So they hire Kubiak (OC), who brought over John Benton (OL coach) and Andrew Jonocko (QB coach). Then there's Michael Byrne (offensive assistant). And now Justin Outten (run game specialist).

Will more coaches and more assistants and more specialists make the players perform better? I guess we'll find out. Sometimes I get the impression that more is less. Seems pretty convoluted to me.

Interesting what they had to say about Metcalf, doesn't sound like they are planning to trade him.
"I'll tell you this: We talked. Every candidate had an idea how we're going to use DK definitely at the top of their mind," Macdonald said, via the Tacoma News Tribune’s Gregg Bell. "It's great to hear different visions throughout the league of how guys saw him.

"I think Klint has the best vision out of all those guys."
"A lot to work with. A lot of great skill to work with," Kubiak said. "Down-the-field threat. Strong, physical player. Extremely excited about getting to work with him, and his physical presence. Brings a lot, can bring a lot, to our offense."

Go back 5 or 6 drafts and see if you think his drafts have been good? Not really.

They've hired a couple of more coaches seems for the running game
The Seahawks have hired Dennison as a run game coordinator and senior offensive advisor. Seattle also officially announced the hire of ex-Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten as a run game specialist and assistant offensive line coach

No salary cap for coaches....but seems awful desperate.

6, actually. Kubiak, Benton, Janocko, Byrne, Outten and Dennison.

It really is the key, the staff the HC puts together. They are the ones that coach the team, the HC coach coaches the staff, it's about the selection and the delegation. The successful ones develop that coaching tree.

I felt the quality of Pete's staff declined at the end. You can complain about Bevel, Cable and whoever but I think that period was a pretty good staff.

Maybe just because it's the cowboys but I've been seeing a lot about the staff schottenheimer put together, people seem impressed with it so far, so we will see. Terms of MM, give him a mulligan for his first season being a rookie HC. But this is it, this staff needs to be able to coach the team the way he envisions
