Hawk Blogger Dan Viens who I respect doesn't have an issue with his age:

Interesting, yeah I think you're over thinking the age thing. The point of drafting him would be he sounds like an instant impact player. In terms of drafting for need I think they are looking at stopping the Rams. I honestly feel that way. You look at the weapons the Rams have and look for how to stop them.

So he is talking about stopping Puka and Co.. or matching them in terms of the DBs they brought in? I assume the former...

Yeah, Puka...not that anyone actually knows what they are up to. Commented before I think this draft really is about defense. Which runs against the Price pick
Targeting Defensive Secondary: The Seahawks are exploring adding versatile defensive backs to counter Rams receiver Puka Nacua. South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse has been highlighted as a potential pick to disrupt the Rams' passing game, with reports suggesting the Seahawks may trade back from pick No. 32 to secure him.
Direct Counter to Rams Moves: Analysts suggest the Seahawks' draft strategy is a direct evolution to compete with the Rams, specifically aiming to add "unique" defenders who can serve as "chess pieces" against top offenses.

I can see that but MM always talks about complimentary football. And I consider that keeping the Rams potent O off the field and you can't do that without a running game and you can't have a running game with a patchwork quilt of 2nd tier RBs imo.

sure, I've just really been talking myself out of them using the first pick on a RB lately. I'm not sure Price is really that exceptional compared to the rest of the class. That's been my argument. I still think they grab one but I'm not so sure JS will be that particular.

That argument would be you really are looking for exceptional athleticism for your secondary... You can find RBs, JS said it himself

We just had a RB win the MVP of the our SB championship but I guess they are a dime a dozen and any of them can do that. ALL they experts are saying there are two RB1s in the draft and then a big gap.

Who knows, maybe they find another Chris Carson or a one-year wonder UDFA like Thomas Rawls.

Or maybe Christine Michael or Procisse or Penny or Eddie Lacey.

Ive given up having a pick. I believe they will trade down then who knows. If they keep the 32 pick I don't think they use it on Price. But I don't think they keep it, that's the issue. If they end up picking there I think it be defense
