Lots of celebration photos in the locker room, but this one in particular cracks me up...

There's a guy that came out of nowhere to earn a starting job.
He looked dinged up in the game. I know Tyrice came in. I hope Young is okay.

Understood, but we have guys asking like this should cost Riq his job. I think it should cost the official his job...it was chicken shit.

But, as has been mentioned already, and I believe I brought it up earlier as well. The fucking ref told him to go away, and he not only didn't listen, doubled down and went after the Rams sidelines. My belief is he was dishing some smack talk back to those guys....but at that point? Get the fuck off the field.

I thought the same thing when Spoon forced the fourth down incompletion and got in the ref's face wanting a flag. What the Fuck dude, a flag would have resulted in them having another shot on 4th down. That would have meant another attempt at taking the lead or kicking a FG to cut the lead to 1. I like getting the ball back better! Those refs were looking for ANY reason to give the game to the Rams. That, to me? Was obvious. Get off the damn field. After seeing what happened to Riq, he gives these fuckers another shot to throw a pathetic flag at us?
That game had almost no room for error. Brock and Salk were saying this morning how Darnold not turning the ball over was necessary to
victory. It wouldn't have been quite as necessary if Woolen didn't get the taunting. I agree Spoon losing his shit at an inappropriate 4th down
stop was retarded as well. It probably goes to show that taunting the other team is considered more egregious than aggressively complaining
to the refs. This brings up my main point though, once the refs enter the flow of the game; the game gets dumber. There is no way to stay
consistent for the refs and any attempt to do so actually makes it worse (make up calls are a thing).
The players (like Spoon) turn into welfare queens expecting the yellow hanky handout.

There is zero chance that the NFL should have been able to look at that crew, see that Stafford is 7 and 0 with that crew, and assign them to that game. I realize I am watching through the lens of a Seahawk's fan, but the officiating was one sided.

The first snap from scrimmage, we stuff their run and Williams is yelling, not at anyone, not standing over anyone, just yelling. Some thug Ram O Lineman shoves him. The ref grabs him and pulls him back. Flag the fucker...he is pushing after the play on the first fucking snap!? If that game hadn't been called the way it was? I'd have been a bit less pissed at the flag on Riq. But, again...the part there is no excuse for is the fact that the Ref told him to go away, and he didn't.

Still, that call, in that game at that time? He better have dropped one of those words you just can't say...and I am not convinced that was it.

How about after the late Kupp first down catch and McVey and three refs basically had a board meeting on whether it was a good idea
for McVey to challenge or not.

LOL, right!? I was BEGGING him to throw the flag. I was also begging JSN to not run out of bounds on that late catch. The overturn was the right call there though.

It may be that I don't understand a dead ball taunting penalty but shouldn't the result of the 4th down play stood and the ball belong to the Seahawks and the penalty assessed against our offense instead of the giving the Rams a first down?

I mean the play was over and it should have been Seahawks ball.
Great question.
It was third down. The ball wasn't possessed by Seattle, they were going to receive the punt. It was 3rd and 12, so the 15 yards resulted in a first down.
Plus unsportsmanlike conduct is an automatic first down.

Cornerbacks are the dumbest football players. I believe that statistically they get the lowest score on those Wonderlic Tests. The only reason Spoon could have for even saying anything to the ref is that if he picks it off we get it at the 20. It might have been a good thing though as barking at the ref prevented him from barking at the other team.

The white guy that looks like Rudy from the movie. I guess that's Thomas. Sorry.

I was pretty sure it was 4th down.
If not then that is the difference.
