So you're going to talk shit about the Hawks and defend idiot announcers. I think you might be on the wrong forum
I believe you're talking to ST's infamous "seattlesports1," friend.
Ah. All makes sense now.

What did ET have to do with anything? Jackson took over, end of story...but I got a kick out of his O Line celebrating after me made like 9 guys miss on one long run. I’m not sure the guys celebrating even blocked anyone, Jackson was just Super human!

ET didn’t do shit.
No idea. :|

he was on the winning team
Describe the game in two words: Sweet revenge. Safety Earl Thomas III returned to Seattle and got the last word in beating his former team. He shouted over at the Seahawks sideline a couple of times during the game in the direction of coach Pete Carroll.
So why did you you say they shut him up?

W Q Falcons
W vs Bucs at home
L @ 49ners
L @ Eagles
L vs Vikings at home
L @ Rams
L @ Panthers
W vs Cards at home
L vs 49ners at home

8-8
You realize u don't have to include the N when reference the 49ers right?

I'll tell you what. If the Hawks finish 8-8 or worse I'll delete my account and leave the board forever. If the Hawks finish 9-7 or better you have to delete your account and leave the board forever... solid bet?

Put your money where your mouth is champ.
Deal
Nice knowing ya.

I mean good for Earl... the Hawks couldn't really afford him even if they wanted him to stick around. Especially not after 2x leg breaks. Earl continues to be one of my favorite Seahawks of all time. His jersey is the only one I've bought the last 20 years and I still wear it.

I don't really get the whole "revenge" thing.

The Hawks drafted him, got him a ring, paid him his first big contract.

Would he have been happier being drafted by the Browns? The Titans? Jets? Bills?

He's probably thanked his lucky stars a few times that he was made a Seahawk.
Exactly. He is basically saying that because they didn't think he was worth making the highest paid safety they are terrible people. Its absurd.

Oh. Just odd because I don't remember anyone saying they were going to shut him up. Must have missed it.

I know. I read most of it but didn't see a word about anyone wanting to shut him up. It certainly was unfortunate that we didn't though.

yeah, it wasn't that they wanted to shut him up, its that they lost the opportunity to shut him up by losing the damn game. I don't really see it as a big deal, its part of sports to go and talk smack to your old team, if given the opportunity that is, if you are a smack talker. Next up...RS. I am going to go out on a limb and figure the Hawks would just as soon not give RS an opportunity to talk smack
