Wow, got paid and sure is bringing it. Nice job Adams. Like he said in his post game interview "it just happens sometimes." Or in his case, maybe it just doesn't happens sometimes--for two games in a row after getting paid almost 18 million.

Dunlap played a team missing two starters on the line, recorded NO STATS. Yet, our biggest concern in a game we gave up over 200 yards rushing? How many sacks the Safery got.

Our CBs can't cover and our D Line can't get to the QB. But that damn SS is killing us? Christ.

Can't stop the run, the MLB is the highest paid player on the team....

Maybe we could have gotten a better dline or cb if we weren’t paying a safety the number 1 salary by over 2 million more than the next safety because he refused to play without it. And what is doing as a self proclaimed. “Defensive weapon”????

At least the highest paid defender showed up instead of just the mouth showing up. Bobby had 20 tackles 1 sack 2 QBs hit s and 2 tfl. You are on Bobby’s back for this game. Dude come on Adams mouth is the only thing that showed up.

Yeah, Bobby showed up yesterday, Adams didn't. By the way, the Titans were without their defensive QB yesterday and were using a back-up LT.

I was 100 percent for the trade for Adams. I guess I didn't realize how limited of a player he is. If he can't blitz, what the heck does he do? Doesn't intercept, doesn't cover, maybe good in the box. He does have a big mouth, at least Sherm backed his up.

18 million bucks is way toooooo much for what he brings. I thought he was better all around. He just isn't.

I agree that Carlos needs to step it up.

Just for a bit of context. Paying Adams effected a lot of this. Adams is basically making the same as Hyder, Dunlap, and Benson. You have to pay the piper some time. It is what it is, you can push money all over the make stuff work. So, it may not be exact.

Saying that, I am a bit surprised that Hyder and Carlos aren't more disruptive. Especially against backups. Disappointed all around.

I though I would be more angry with the loss, but I think I am expecting less from this team than a lot of other fans. I don't think we are that good, and with the makeup of the team I just don't think Russ can shoulder us up high enough. Too many holes. Here is what I think:

Oline isn't good
Safeties should be one of the best in the league. But, watching Adams not sure anymore. Ineffective to say the least.
Dline is average at very best
CB's are weak
LBs are fine with Bobby running the show, not the best but way above average
WR are excellent
TE are above average
QB top 7 in the league
Coaching on D has been an issue for as long as Norton has been in charge
Offensive plan ??
RB's I think we are just fine, way above average. Not much burst from Carson, but also breaks a ton to make up for it

All that, are we really better than the Rams, Cards, Niners, Bucs? We maybe in a bit of trouble. We will most likely make the playoffs, but not sure of much more.

Wildcard to change and make us top tier by the end of the season:

Everett is used properly and changes the passing game.
CB's get worked out, Jones becomes what the draft experts thought he would (before injury)
The DE rotation catches fire. Become like the old defensive DE's (at least the great rotation)
Offensive line gets it together
Adams learns how to cover, or make an overall impact of an 18 million dollar player.

I think most of the above is within reach, it just depends on if it does. Man, if it does a lot can change.

Jesus, he had a late hit on the QB, and we STILL got the ball back.

The D Line sucks, the running game is nonexistent, the QB is the opposite of clutch, our #1 receiver is a head case and in week two our genius OC turned into a Schottenheimer. I WISH the play of our SS was an issue, because we'd be in better shape.

Seriously, even Flowers limited coverage can be excused. Against a patchwork O Line, yet again, our D Line didn't do jack shit.

And Bobby showed up? Henry had like 140 yards AFTER the half. How did he show up? He is a fucking MLB on a defense that got TORCHED on the ground. What? He got a sack? Adams lead us in sacks last year and all you all did was bitch that that isn't his job. Sorry, the fucking MLB and QB of the defense should be the FIRST place we look for why the fuck this run defense is embarrassing.
