14 of Cardinals points on pick-6's at the end of the first half screwed everything up. Until that point, it looked like Saints would have a pretty easy win.
Cards got Hopkins back, though,... so that's something.
It was also 14 to 14 at the time of the two picks. The killer was the pick in the endzone. Sorry, Dalton wasn't leading this team to a win in AZ anyway, and those three first half INTs are exactly why I picked the Cards. New Orleans has limited playmakers to begin with, were missing Thomas and Landry to top it off, and the playmakers they have they don't use. Olave is a stud, but the refusal to use Kamara until the game was basically over is curious to me. If Kamara is washed up, what does that make Ingram!? And a TE as your Red Zone back? Jesus. Kamara is not far removed from the guy that scored five or six TDs, and would have had six or seven but Payton used to love making sure his FB got a TD or two. The same shit they are doing with Hill even now that Payton is gone. Crazy.
I was a bit worried early, as ugly offensively as Thursday Night games have been, it looked like the Saints defense might actually win it for them. But even they ended up just throwing in the towel. That last drive were Eno Benjamin looked like Beastmode? Jesus, how does that happen?
