19 penalties for 257 yards. The NFL should be embarrassed. Turned the game on in the third quarter - literally saw five plays intermittantly - four were PI's against Seattle - it was so utterly ridiculous that you could hear it in the tone of guys in the booth.

There were some ridiculous calls. But for me, that PI against Wagner may have been the biggest head scratcher.

Side note: monster game from DK, and Geno looked good. This team has rediscovered the end zone and it's nice to see.

SEA - 9-14 on 3rd down conversions.

The fact that the offense was so effective vs. a very good D tells me it has been the shit play calling.

Both 4th down plays were god-awful. Waldren is a clown.

Run up the middle with 25 seconds left in the game and no time outs left in LA and now this. How is this an NFL team???

Looks to me that it Lawrence that blew the play up. Lucas needed to get outside leverage and turn him to the inside. Instead he went right around him and basically impeded Dallas so that he couldn't get out in the flat.

Compare that to the play that DeBoer called on 4th and 1 vs. the Cougs. You would think NFL Coaches would be more advanced but the Hawks offense is like a Jr. High team compared to Grubb's.

At least the explanation for this play is that it worked for Notre Dame against Navy. I am sure the Navy defense has lot's of Micah Parsons on their team running 4.3 40 yard dashes. That was stupid.

In the entire 144 year history of Navy athletics they have produced two guys on Parsons level. Staubach and David Robinson.

If Lucas had done his job on Lawrence there wouldn't have been a mine field for him to negotiate through. It doesn't really matter what play your running, when the guy making the Key block whiffs its going to get blown up.
