Walker is going to be good. The knock on him is he can't pass block for shit. Like, he's terrible at it. But everything else is top shelf.
Hope he enjoys backing up Penny.
For the first 7 plays of game one until Penny is injured.
How about another $100 bet on who gets more carries this year, Penny or Walker. ;)

Was right tackle really a bigger need than center? I swear Ethan Pocic's gotta have photos of Pete molesting little boys in the locker room showers at VMAC.
It's cool,, G/C Zach Tom is still on the board. I wanted Lucas or C Jurgens, glad we got one. Now go and get Tom tomorrow morning with the 4th pick!!! Woo!!

Or LB Damone Clark
or Woolen. lotta mocks had him going early 2nd round. incredible size and length plus speed, just like the old Hawk prototype. and now that they have embraced the idea of not excluding smaller corners with Jones and Burns (and DJ Reed previously), have to think they would love to get more length back there again to complement. if not Woolen in 4th then there's several others who fit that bill - Zyon McCollum, Akayleb Evans, Tariq Castro-Fields or Jaylen Watson. i'd lay even odds they end up with one of those 5. Might also see Cade Mays, another IOL who could play center.

just saw that in addition to Zach Tom, T Wake Forest, there's a Zachary Thomas, T San Diego State with about a 5th round grade. We should take them both, have a draft of all tackles, two of which have different versions of the same name.

Woolen would be an interesting pick - 6'4" 200+ lb corner with 4.26 speed? hmmmm I think I like that.

yeah, there should be a draft party BBQ between Smoke Monday, Sauce Gardner, and James Cook to celebrate their new station. And the Wright brothers - Alex and Mykael - could provide the QA.

So what is the biggest position of need now? I guess CB is the obvious answer but with Diggs coming off the injury i would think more depth at Safety would be pretty important now. And let's not pretend that Lewis is the answer at LG or Blithe at C. The interior of the O line still sucks. And then there's DT although the guy we got from the Broncos should help.

we have Blair, Ugo and Neal as backups. Safety is far and away our deepest and most full group.

CB and DLine, ILB.

Coby Bryant, 14th best CB according to ESpN.

Does this qualify as a John Schneider "smart guy" pick?
