Collier article...one would assume he will have some kind of a role this season

He was a first round pick...most would have assumed he’d have some kind of a role last season.

yeah, it was a disappointment, he is on the roster and one might assume they are figuring to try and work him more this season. Green was a 3rd round pick, he picked things up his second year, even with Collier's first season being a waste as a first round pick it be nice if Collier could do something similar

on Green this last season
“I was trying to do too much, and I ended up not doing much at all.” [In the same piece, Pete Carroll said], “He’s popping out now, his quickness is there, he’s more powerful than he was (last year), obviously his awareness and his timing is better because he’s more experienced.”

Green had four sacks. Sorry, the fact that THAT is improvement doesn’t necessarily fill me with hope that all of a sudden we have guys ready to explode. Collier had six freaking sacks his last year in college...then an impressive few days at the Senior Bowl makes him a first round pick?

Six whopping sacks in a pass happy Big 12. Just fantastic.

No impact what’s so ever last year. No spark, promise, no suddeness, no nothing.

Not good. Hope he gets better, shouldn’t be hard only had 3 tackles. :)

and Clowney had a whopping three sacks, wasn't trying to imply an explosion, was figuring him for playing time. Don't know how good he is going to be but Pete is probably going to have to give chances. Collier has been compared to Bennett who really wasn't a big sack guy either seems to me, its versatility isn't it

lil trivia: Collier is almost TWO YEARS older than Green.
