This was my point. He is raw and needs the practice time. Even best case he will be starting over right about the start of the regular season.
.
Like I said not necessarily a bad thing. There's been rookies miss training camp and contribute

So, this seems to be a trend now with the Seahawks' top draft pick getting injured before he ever plays a down. Maybe they should put them into cryogenic stasis until a week before the season begins.

A good edge rusher is going to be far easier to find that the best MLB in the game.
Maybe so... but you don't need to have the best MLB in the game to win the SB. Any average to pro bowl level talent will do and Cody Barton looks more than serviceable to be that guy

True but the Seahawks need Bobby Wagner to win a Superbowl.

Bottom Line. you build from the front back. Was Clark the best, no. Was he good. Hell yeah. Did Wilson need his massive extension THIS YEAR, NO. Remember he still had 1 year remaining on his last deal. He could of sucked it up like a pro & waited his turn. You pay talent & that talent included Frank Clark. Said it then & I'll say it now, not one of Schneiders brightest moments.

If they didn't sign Wilson it was franchise tag or walk. Your reasoning is flawed big time. Waiting wouldn't have given them cap relief. That makes no sense. Hawks don't have cap issues. They could have signed Wilson ,Wagner and Clark. Some of you are presenting it like it was a "either or" scenario. Hawks didn't want to commit that much money to Clark.

Not to mention the got an epic haul in the Clark trade. Prioritizing Clark over Wilson would have been absurd.

Sounds like this injury was another friendly fire incident along the lines of Britt diving into Fant's knee, the villain this time being Duane Brown with a careless leap into the air.

Why would Brown leap into the air? Where did you hear that?
