How does benching him to avoid injury save them money? I thought they intended to cut him.

There is another chunk of money that becomes guaranteed if he fails a physical. So, the fact that he is healthy now means he won't fail a physical down the road. It's really no different than benching your starters once out of the playoffs to keep them healthy, but in this instance, it ensures that the Broncos won't have to pony up a big chunk of salary because he got hurt playing in one of the two remaining meaningless games.

I'll take a look, but if you found the salary cap stuff confusing i'm not going to make any sense of it because i'm illiterate on matters of finance. :)

This part isn't all that confusing though. It is literally just a clause that guarantees more of his money if he fails a physical. Which they fear would happen if he gets hurt in one of the next two games.

His ego might have grown regardless of how she acts or acted. He felt like he was a celebrity, not just an NFL QB. He isn't, and he wasn't.
Yes RW lost touch. He always was a cringy nerdy dude. I hope he can settle into his role as dad and get over himself. He seems to have beautiful family to spend his time with while also spending his millions.
Yeah I saw a post from somebody that probably made $50k a year saying that they felt sorry for him. There is less than .1% of the population that would not trade places with him right now.
I’m in that .1% I guess.

This is my brother's best friend in High School. I have seen a photo of him with RW and his 1st wife so this is 1000% legit. Not surprising but this is confirmation.

So you’re saying there’s no chance he comes back to Seattle?

I wondered the same thing about practice. I imagine if it's off the field it would be non-football related, and I doubt the clause would still trigger.
