Some really good in-depth analysis of the Center situation here (starting at 8:50)...

Anything new on Conner Williams? I like Olu, but maybe they think he needs another year or so before he carries all the freight at center.

OFF Topic: Thanks, YouTube, for running an ad before your video of Kamala trying to suck up some dollars for her free ride to the Democrat Nomination. I can't stand even looking at that heap of incompetent shit, much less hearing her open her mouth to speak with that nasal fake home-girl twang.

They don't appear to be too happy with Olu's style of play. If you watch the video around the 21 min mark he talks about the undrafted FA center they signed a couple days ago.

Thanks, I missed that. I was listening to Grubb on the Softy podcast and didn't tune this in. Full pads tomorrow. I like how MM is not handing out jobs on that O-Line, because we all know it was shit last year and has been for quite a while under PC. A shit O-line, Geno under pressure all year and a defensive line that couldn't stop the run...and somehow we finished 9-8. I don't know how we can't find 10-7 this season, unless we get blown out with key injuries.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks and Williams have been in talks regarding a contract, but Williams is also conversing with other teams

+184 to make the playoffs. I need to put $100 on that to perhaps cover my really stupid bets about winning the NFC Championship and then the Super Bowl.

Apparently Haynes went 1 on 1 vs Murphy yesterday and held his own. Jerrell and Laumea also reportedly looked good, although going against guys that probably won't make the final roster.

Yup, this observation makes sense. This guy is at camp and said Olu is getting pushed back and owned A LOT in pads this week. He discusses it around the 10-minute mark. He suggested that the Hawks wanted to see how he might do in full pads before maybe stepping up full-on for Connor Williams.

But it doesn't sound good for Olu right now, and that's a shame. I was hoping he would be our anchor at center for some years to come. We'll see...
