I know that this is major heresy among Seahawks fans, but I may be a packers fan now.

I just noticed that nobody, on the offense anyway, has a stupid platitude on the back of their helmet. No pointless/idiotic "Choose Love," or, "It takes all of us," or "Black lives matter." It just says, "Packers."

Plus, even knowing Aaron Rodgers is a smarmy dick, I like that he's an independent-extremist. He's not into vaccines, but does weird drugs, etc... We probably wouldn't get along, but he's got his own personality. Not just a LeBron James mainstream, cookie-cutter woke leftist.

Anyway, Packers are shitty this year, so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Isn't one of them at a neutral site, like Mexico City?

Stupid Lions choked away my epic upset pick, but the Jets came thru. C'mon Cardinals to make me 2/3.
Not sure I would call it choking when you lose a game no one thought you had a shot to win. They actually played pretty well. They are the Lions...there is a reason that would have been an upset. Same with the Cards. That game should have never been that close. Choking is what Minnesota almost did! The Cards are a fucking mess. I thought that coach was a shitty hire, and always had a feeling that Kyler was a gimmick. But, then he looked like the next Russell Wilson, so....maybe he is? :o

Picking upsets is an interesting strategy, since it can separate you from the pack. I feel that selecting the points you place on the right team helps more. A couple of times I have forgotten to pick on a Thursday, and even with that? Actually had a similar week in picking games than the guy that won it, yet finished no where near in points. The points are a big deal. I think it was maybe two or three weeks ago that several of us picked more correct games than the guy that won.

aw, that is where the disconnect is. You are playing to win, I'm just trying to outsmart the oddsmakers. Plus, I'm stuck because I have to pick the Seahawks to lose and the Broncos to win every week.

  Makes sense. That said, picking the Hawks to win and Broncos to lose has worked out pretty well most of the time!

it's been my downfall in the contest, but I'm taking the hit for the good of the team.

You're welcome.

Something strange happened. I don't remember picking fucking Carolina and if i had i certainly wouldn't have put 13 points on them. Very odd.
