Seahawks vs Pudriots game thread
Re: Seahawks vs Pudriots game thread
Stats on my phone shows that our incredible defensive line accounted for 5 tackles and no sacks. That is a pretty good indicator that any quarterback in the league has a chance to beat us rather than just the elite ones
Re: Seahawks vs Pudriots game thread
Look at the qb hits too.
This is a mammoth issue.
I don’t care....call Clay Mathews. He literally can’t be worse. He most likely will in limited play have more pressure than our pitiful line.
Major issue for John. His drafting hasn’t been good there. And Benson and Bruce are having their own issues.

Well the Patriots only rushed traditionally 14 times and NE only had 67 rushing for a 2.7 yard average including Cam Newton's runs... the run D has been super quality the first two games...
Issue is... the Patriots abandoned the run, Newton passed 44 times... Hawks D couldn't get home on passing downs... not even close. So the D-line isn't gonna get a lot of tackles with that goin on.

I have to give Belichick and the Pats some credit, its been brought up the talent they lost over the off season, including Tom Brady, and they took the Hawks down to that last nail biting play. You can claim Belichick is overrated but i wouldn't ever take a team of his for granted

There's this new invention called the garbage can. Instead of leaving them on top of your black and white TV, place your finished Hungry Man trays in this receptacle.Logainismyhero wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:54 amWorst trailer in the park. I'm going to get eaten alive by the maggots.
And by the way, the Patriots are still considered an elite team, so suck it. We won, you lost. Again.

Sign Earl. He rehabs his image and goes to a Cover 2/3 team next year. Meanwhile, we let Adams go crazy on blitzes, covers, run stuffing..whatever he wants.IStillLoveTheMs wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 4:27 amPositives:
RW is the best player in the NFL right now.
OL was solid for a 2nd straight week.
WR core is elite it seems.
Carson seems as good as ever and Hyde has been solid.
Jamal Adams pass rushing and run defense.
Run defense has been quality. Poona being the catalyst here.
Defense has handled plays to exterior far better than last year.
Negatives:
Stupid penalties.
0 pass rush from the defensive ends. And I mean 0.![]()
Interior rush has been dog shit.
Jamal Adams pass defense has been woeful.
Shaq has looked pedestrian in a contract season.
Dunbar has either looked elite in coverage or like absolute shit.
Diggs hasn't made an impact at all.
A lot of the struggles on defense will be solved if they can figure out how to get ANY pressure on a QB. Alton Robinson better be on the active roster and starting. The Hawks also need to look at ways to bring in talent to rush the passer on defense. Explore trades... get a f/a with the remaining cap money... because this cannot continue. While the pass coverage hasn't been great, there's not a single secondary in football that is going to stop an NFL QB who faces no pressure and in turn is always on time + comfortable. This. Needs. To. Change.

Good God you just made me think of having to attend a slumber party made up entirely of Antifa women.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:45 amWell, we saw how bad it is without Diggs. 397 passing yards allowed. Imagine if the Seahawks secondary was made up entirely of Schneider's draft picks over the past 7 years.JAWA wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:37 amEdelman had a career game tonight, we could not stop that little fucker.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:33 amMan Edelman is a baller dude.
They could NOT stop him tonight.
We need a pass rush badly.
It's not a good sign if your strong safety is your best pass rusher. I hate to imagine how much worse it could be if we didn't have Jamal.

It was stupid because we now know it didn't work and Carson had been grinding a couple yards even with no hole to run through.Michael K. wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 4:53 amEven if they did, the incompletion stops the clock and our defense was getting carved up. Who’d have thought Pete would dial up a pass and I’d be pissed, but that was stupid as shit!Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Sep 21, 2020 3:35 amI think RW was thinking of that 4th down pass to Metcalf last week and got stupid. But this was a totally PC and or RW like decision. The week before they go for it on 4th down and covert. IF they didn't covert that, we'd
have been pointing our how stupid it was, and we'd have been right. Statistically, anytime RW chucks it in the vicinity of 16 it's a completion.
He should have been wide open. It would have iced the game. The snap was really bad throwing the timing off.
If you're a Pats fan, you are wondering how penis hair Cam walked into the end zone all day long basically unmolested and yet still
found a way go fuck it up with the whole game on the line.

Are you saying Newton should have audibled out of the run play because the D was all over it? Perhaps he should have gone with the quick slant.
