They completely stopped pressing, and really dialed back the blitz. I doubt they do that if they weren't up three scores and facing a backup defense. I think they went into clock mode. Watch the first three quarters. It was so nice to see...creative blitzes, press coverage...that all ended after the last TD. Mullens didn't see the same looks that Jimmy G did.
What I didn't like was the fact that the D Line is helpless without the blitz and the missed tackles. But still? Watching the first three quarters was so fun. Add Dunlap, Adam's and Griffin?
I also thought Jordyn Brooks looked pretty good. I'll happily eat crow if he becomes worth a first round pick. I still just don't think you can use a first round pick on a defender that doesn't impact the passing game.
