Also starts just a few hours after the Thursday game has to be picked, so not sure there should be any issues.

Just make picks when you pick the Thursday games. If you feel you need to edit...do it later. But I don't imagine many of us are getting up at 8 am Pacific to make these picks and then realize we forgot to pick the early over seas game. But, I guess it's possible.
