I wonder if the scores are so high because game results have been more predictable this year (i.e. fewer upsets) or if there are more and better predictive "tools" out there that people are using.

I am a bit streaky. 3 Weeks as the winner and still sitting in 8th place with three guys ahead of me who haven't won once.

Just curious, do you do any research or consult any prognostication resources prior to making your picks?

I mostly go with my gut. Occasionally I will look at the Vegas spreads to try and have a more educated opinion on how to allocate my points.
