Chance to dump on the state of Washington you guys

The millionaire tax
Asked if it could “come into play” in future contract negotiations Schneider said “it’s gonna sting; there’s no question about it.”

Schneider referenced that the state has not previously had a state income tax and said “it’s been a huge” advantage.

Schneider said he had “a bunch of agents” texting him on Wednesday saying, “Hey, can’t use that anymore buddy, you know?”

Dumpster Diving - Or Great RB pick up?
If dumpster diving is a 1 and Walker is a 10 he is probably a 5. Not bad for a start.
GB Packers Reddit is pissed. They believe Lewis chose the Seahawks as a better chance to start.
He also has a fairly impressive highlight tape from last year.

Not a speed back at all. Looks to be another back like Charb. Straight ahead type. Hope they draft a different type.

Yeah, seems more the bruiser, a heavy runner
“It’s pretty cool to watch his progression since he got here and how far he’s come,” LaFleur said after Wilson carried 28 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns — all career highs — in a 23-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings (and Jones) on Nov. 23 at Lambeau Field.

“E is a big, powerful back. He’s kind of unassuming at times, but he’s powerful, and when you run with the right pad level, it just shows you what he’s capable of doing.”
Added Jacobs: “I love the guy, man. As much as he works, how hard he works … He's very coachable. I mean, he comes up to me every day and asks me something that I think he should work on. What did I see on this play? Or, how do I view certain plays? Things like that.

“He's willing to learn, and he always tries to implement that into his game. I always try to tell him, ‘Man, just be who you are. Keep running how you’re running. Make sure you're running hard and just be who you are.’”
“Our pro staff did a great job evaluating [and] identifying Emanuel and just saying, ‘Hey, here’s this 230-pound guy with great feet,’” Schneider said Thursday on his radio show on KIRO-AM radio in Seattle. “And you sign a one-year deal like that, it’s kind of like a, ‘Come on in, come be part of our culture, come prove it, see what you can do and compete with a group.’

“He gives us a little bit of something different. He’s a heavy runner.”

I agree. He looks slow as fuck. Wikipedia say he's a 4.57 40 guy, but that looks like a lie.
But he appears to be a smart and strong RB.

His Twitter account is blowing up with 12s.

Willing to invest in premium WR speed, RB speed not so much. What's the difference? Injury risk? I think injury risk with RBs is a significant factor with JS. That's what this turns on.

I just looked at the WRs in the draft. Seems loaded. Guessing some are pretty fast.

And neither was Wilson. Interesting because I was thinking how Wilson has never seemed to have been given much of a chance, but on the other hand Shaheed was able to overcome not being drafted pretty successfully. I had ammened that earlier comment, I think this whole thing turns on injury risk.
