He's also 9 and 8 in the playoffs. Wasn't that the knock on Pete? Losing Playoff games? I realize that was more of a recent issue, since Pete was 3 and 6 in the playoffs since losing the Super Bowl, but Carroll was 10 and 9 with the Seahawks and 11 and 11 overall.
All Time Playoff wins.
1. Bill Belichick - 31
2. Andy Reid - 26
3. Tom Landry - 20
4. Don Shula - 19
5. Joe Gibss - 17
6. Chuck Noll - 16
7. Mike Holmgren - 13
8. Tom Coughlin - 12
8. Bill Cowher - 12
8. John Harboaugh - 12
11. Bill Paarcells - 11
11. Marv Levy - 11
11. Dan Reeves - 11
11. Mike McCarthy - 11
11. Pete Carroll - 11
Payton is tied for 19th with 9. Interesting that the Shannahan's are tied at 24 with 8. McVey is tied with Chuck Knox at 29 with 7 wins. Zac Taylor, Jim Harbaugh, Doug Pederson and Sean McDermott all in a large group tied for 35th with 5 wins.
Here's hoping Payton only falls down the list as he never wins another playoff game! LOL
