They start talking about it right away in this audio clip. Danny says "he hates the underlying message". Danny uses as a point that one of the reasons
we don't have better FAs is because he (RW) is making so much. Danny goes on and on up to the 10 minute mark if you have the stomach to listen.

Again, early in the second hour audio, (guest) Brock Huard is asked about the RW quote. Brock says RW is right, but it is a "little off brand". Brock flat our says he likes it. Danny doubles down that he doesn't. Brock politely points out there's a lot of cap room for next year. The RW conversation ends at the 6 minute mark.

just hate that overused inaccurate cliche " best ability is availability" . dont think my 100% availability is a real asset to to the team; how about yours?
Yeah, because you or I could play a football game and be available for more than 1 snap, let alone all of them!

If you can't read between the lines than never mind. My point is Clowney is great, but he wears street clothes about a third of the season. I'd pay someone a little less that is maybe a not as good, but actually gets on the field. After the 49ers game we won, Clowney was either off the field or not exactly at 100%. Kudos to him for getting out there, but did you watch our defense in those games and see anything special?
Clowney missed 3 games this year.
Good point. Somehow I had it in my head it's been am issue, but since his rookie year he has missed just two or three games a year. Sucks that now a days we say he ONLY misses three games.

I wonder if that core issue he has is going to linger. They seem to tend to linger just ask Mitch haniger
That's like saying hamstring issues linger ask CJ Procice
Re: CJ. I am soooooooooo glad we were patient and kept him for all these years. He was a really game changer when healthy this season.

Exactly what I was thinking, he must be a blue-ribbon-for-5th-place kind of guy.

I loved that RW said it, and I believe he did it for a reason. We added Percy and treated him like a RB, added Jimmy and treated him like a RT...and besides that? Every piece added has been an O lineman that run blocks but can’t pass block, or a defender.

Its fine that he said it - but he opens himself up to soon being the reason as to why we aren't able to get more superstars. With his salary, he'll be more of a hinderance to them getting done. Here's hoping he soon decides to kick money back to the hawks or at least on his next deal he starts to go the Brady way and take 5-10 mill off what he knows he could get.

He’s broken the bank, so who knows what he will do next time...but look at the cap room they have now. It’s pretty hard to say his deal crippled them.
