but you are ignoring what they would need to give up to do it, all those middle round picks. You are making a pretty big assumption, that another Irvin over another Ifedi for instance would be worth the three other players you are trading away.
When GB moved from 30 to 21 they only gave up two fourth round picks. I would do that and Green Bay who is pretty widely respected did it. Its not like the Brows or Redskins or Jets are the only teams that trade up.

okay, but i just do not see the relationship to them getting a better player, or more talent overall out of it. And the fact is the way they evaluate talent doesn't seem to have much relationship to how talent is ranked in the first place, so they trade two 4th rounders to move up to 21 just to take a guy that probably is there at 30.

True they need to pick a guy that deserves to be picked 21st if they move up to 21st. That has been there problem with first round picks lately.

Bucky Brooks has us taking a guy with the one of the odder names I have ever seen:

Yetur Gross-Matos - Edge
School: Penn State | Year: Junior

The ex-Penn State standout has the length, athleticism and burst Seattle covets in an edge rusher.

Becton said he "felt something tighten up" ( yeah right) and didn't participate in any more drills. After that 40 I don't blame him. Some of the top prospects didn't participate. Great OL class.

Seahawks interviewed OLB Zack Baun
